I dealt with the owner of the company to secure cleaning services well in advance of when my family would be moving out of our house. There was only one or 2 days the empty house would be available to clean before the new owners moved in. The house had 4000 sq ft to clean, which included a full basement partially finished, and they were asked to clean all of it. The owner did come to house to see and give quote. She told which day she might could send a team to do the job, and I was to let her know if I decided I wanted them to do the job. I was very impressed with the owner during this meeting. The reasons for the lower rating given in some categories is because of the difficulties I had corresponding with the owner after that initial meeting. I called and left messages, I texted, and would get no response. When I did finally get to speak with her again, she was hesitant about committing to having an available team for that day. I had some other questions before the scheduled date and wanted confirmation closer to time, but she would not answer or return my calls and texts. This made me quite nervous that they would not show up, so I started trying to find someone else, to no avail.
I was not going to be able to be in town when the cleaning was to take place, so I had a friend come let them in if they showed up, which they did, and on time. They did the job, and my friend verified they stayed even longer than had been expected. But the interesting thing is the team leader gave my friend a business card with a different name on it than the name of this company!! I was going to ask the owner about this later, but again, could not get her to respond to phone calls or texts. I kept trying to find out if she had ever picked up the check I left for her outside in designated place (because it had not cleared my bank after a week, and I just needed to know that it was in her hands).
So all in all, dealing with the owner of this cleaning company was very frustrating. But now I want to address the actual cleaning of my house. I must say that this team of 4 or 5 ladies exceeded my expectations! They got up all the gunk (including grease) that had been under and behind appliances. Very thorough and detailed work was done. The basement, which had not been kept clean for some time, was spotless. The refrigerator was spotless, as well. They did an excellent job! And the best compliment of all, was that the new owners contacted me and said that was the cleanest house they had ever moved into!!!
I would not be using this company again only because I moved from that area. But even if I could, I would have some hesitation because of the unresponsiveness of the owner. Also, there are multiple cleaning teams, so I can't speak for the others.

So Gloria Giles has got the cleaning system all figured out. This team is made up of SIX people. They take one hour to clean my 2,200 square foot house. I will say that, at first, the number of people was a little overwhelming. However, I run a science consulting company out of my house, so appreciate that the cleaning team is only there for an hour and not four or six hours. Each team member does one job. You have the person that does the bathrooms, the person who specializes in the kitchen, the duster, etc. This way, everything is done really well. They have several teams that work all around the Hunstville/Madison area. Gloria's uncle (Florencio Cambray) and her brother (Carlos Giles) also lead crews. The family is actually based out of Albertville, AL and they drive in. Everyone is very kind and I feel safe having them in my house. The initial cleaning was $150 and took about two hours (I think we had two teams at the house that day). After that, it's one team of six people that does the job.
