If I could, I would give Greg an A+++! He was very courteous and professional. He examined our pipes, determined where the leak was and repaired it for a fair and reasonable price. As a woman, I become anxious whenever I have something go wrong which requires a handyman ,as I've been burned before. Greg explained the problem in a way that I understood and quoted me a price before doing any work. I would not hesitate to use Southern Plumbing again.

One night I backed out of the garage and clipped the main water line leading into the house. I found Greg Darden on Angie's List and called him for help. He arrived promptly and got right to work. He replaced the damaged pipe and broken water valve. He was very professional and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again if the need arises.

I found his number on Angie's List and read the reviews.  I tried to contact him through the Angie's list site but didn't get a response so after 24 hours I decided to call directly instead because I wasn't sure if he had actually been contacted by the site or not.  I left him a message and he called me back within minutes.  He had an opening within about 30 hours which was fine for me.  He called when he was a few minutes away and arrived on schedule.  He was very polite and got right to work.  I was surprised that he was able to finish the gas line and stove hookup and also repair the hot water heater during the first visit!   He actually even found a small gas leak in the attic and repaired that while he was up there.  He didn't have time to repair the leaking outside faucet but isn't charging a separate trip charge which he didn't have to do.  He got along well with the dogs as well so that's always a good sign!  We have a new fireplace to install so i will definitely be calling him back out.

My toilet was broken at the base, so I called Greg at Southern Plumbing to repair it and he arrived within 1 hour after I called.
The problem was a broken flange, so he fixed the flange and reset my toilet. I was very satisfied with the service and price and I will definitely use them again for future needs.

We had a leak open up in the garage on a Sunday afternoon. Greg was able to respond within the hour. Quickly and accurately found the source and repaired it.

Southern Plumbing & Gas is less expensive then their competitors, bill in 15 minute increments, he's flexible, timely, never over promises, and he is a master gas fitter so he can work on our gas water heater as well as any of our other plumbing issues. Southern Plumbing & Gas is reliable, responsive, and trustworthy. 

I have used Greg with Southern Plumbing for several plumbing repair jobs at my home and at our office building in the last couple of years. I have always been pleased with his work and turn around time but on this job he went above and beyond. He also made multiple trips to the home during different phases of the project. Easy to work with and easy to get on the phone.
