Awesome! Roy called me right back, came over within a few and determined the problem. They told me the problem, and estimated price range and did not try to pile on. They ended up charging less than th eupper limit of the estimate even thought I told them the price range was in my budget. Knowledgeable, honest, reasonably priced and good people.

Quick service and went out of his way...and on his own time to fix our air conditioner. He did not charge extra. He explained what he was doing as he did it and more. He was completely honest. I wish I could replicate his level of service for a plumber, electrician and carpenter. I can rest easy knowing it was not only done right but I did not pay for anything unnecessary or over pay.

The whole week had been the hottest (100's) in the early Summer. Needless to say our air conditioner had been working overtime. I called Roy Laney and left a message. I received an immediate call back and he was at my house relatively quickly. This was a SUNDAY and he would have been within fair bounds to charge overtime rates. He did not. In fact, when I compared notes with others in my office who had the same issue with their A/C, I found that my rate was less than their repair - during normal business hours. Roy was patient and explained everything he was doing and was pleasant to work with. I'm a DIY'er so I like to know how things work. If I had to describe Southern Comfort with one word it would be HONESTY. I've known some shady A/C companies/individuals and Roy is not one of them.

He had me fixed in under an hour and it was just a matter of time for my A/C to catch up to the Alabama heat.
I have used in again and have found the same level of service.
