They preformed the work quickly and on time. My complaint it less than a year had passed and several boards and one post started warping pretty bad. I called 3 months before the year warranty had expired and I've called 2-3 more times requesting the post to be repaired. I keep being told they will put me on the list but they are really busy and I guess get to it when they can. The year warranty has passed by about 3 months and I've not heard a word from them. I have repaired some of the warped boards myself but the post is still warped. I understand that wood will do this but you think they would have come out to at least attempt to strap it to help straighten the post. I guess it will be on me to repair that as well. Overall we liked the fence, I'm just unhappy with the response to make these repairs.

They did a great job building the fence. We had a few communication issues, as they have one person who gives the quote and explains the job, and then other workers who builds it; but I am VERY picky, so a few of the details were lost between people. It all ended up being fine though. The owner was very responsive to the issues and took the time to call and hear about my experience, which I appreciated. Overall the fence is fantastic and I'm glad I used them.

We are very pleased with the fence. Everyone from the estimator, to the team of installers, to Danielle at the office handled things professionally and on-time. The fence looks great and our dog and we are enjoying our yard as a result.

I had invited a local company to put up a fence around my yard. They gave me a ridiculously overpriced estimate. I called shelby fence the second the representative for the first company left. They sent someone out within minutes that not only gave me an estimate right on budget, but also for an upgraded style. I had special accommodations that they did everything in their power to help me with. They were very friendly and did so much for me. They came out and set the posts one day, then the next day had the fence completed in the blink of an eye. It is very well made and i couldnt ask for more.

They installed approx 280' of privacy fencing with one man gate and one drive through gate. We added the decorative post as well as the scalloped look and we could not be more happy with the end results. The total build took 2 days. Maybe a total of 6 hours. They were very efficient in their procedures and they even cleaned up after themselves, which included the dirt they dug to place the posts. I would definitely use them again or refer them to friends or neighbors.

After 9 years one of the post has pulled away from the fence. Shelby fence says it has warped. I looked that up online and is says that is due to cheap materials. They also used nails instead of wood screws which added to the problem. The gate they installed had hardware that was too large that they installed at an angle to make it fit. The gate will no longer close. They will not guarantee their work.

Fence was installed in a day. We called to inform them that they were supposed to install a 5 ft gate so that we could get our mower in. They installed the gate but on the wrong side of the house. So they came back installed another 5 ft gate and also hit a sprinkler pipe which they repaired. We released our 3 30-40 lb dogs and within 30 minutes, they were out. The quality of the fence was so cheap and thin, that our dogs were able to chew on the fence and make large holes to squeeze out of. Fence co comes back out and sparingly put rods through fence into the ground, which did nothing. Finally on the 3rd call, we were told that we got what we paid for. 6 houses and 3 fences installed and I have never been more disappointed. Terrible materials! To make matters worse, we were forced by the city to relinquish ownership of our dog of 6 years because he kept getting out...also spent over $500 getting him back from animal control.

Went well. Good price, on time, professional. My only issue is the carving at the top of the posts looks a little sloppy in some places, but most people wouldn't even notice (I'm picky). Overall, I'd recommend them to others. All other construction seems solid (which is the most important part to me).

Shelby Fence Co showed up on the day they were supposed to show up and put it up. I like the fact that shortly after being called on, we went ahead and had the appointment set-up, the guy was on time, showed up. They did a good job. I would recommend them to others. They are very straightforward, they were always on-time, they did what they said they were going to do. If they were running late, they would call ahead of time to let me know there would be a little delay getting there.

Earlier estimate. Scheduled week promised. Arrived as scheduled. Discussed a change to plan. (Owner determined he could fabricate a narrow gate and advised adding it). We were pleased he could do so since space was limited. Fencing was completed as proposed. Looks great. Dogs are thrilled.
