I have hired the Stockton family to do a lot of work over the years so I trusted them to do a great job on my kitchen remodel. The remodel was going okay but the contractors would come late in the day and many times only worked a few hours a day. This is very inconsiderate for me as a customer. Lee would make sexist remarks about women in front of me to my husband. This was very offensive to me. Kenneth also damaged my brand new tile floor by throwing crow bars and hammers onto their paint bench and missing. So my brand new floor is already chipped. The job really started going bad when they decided they were done with the job before a punch list was even started. When I started a punch list their attitudes became very bad. Lee, said he doesn't do punch lists. They did not want to do the stuff on the list. They broke the threshold in my house, left paint on my floor and wouldn't fill in the nail holes or touch up the cabinets. All of things are normal requests and I was promised when I ordered the cabinets the nail holes would be filled. The kitchen job was over 100,000 dollars and they couldn't be bothered to finish the job. The painting job they did was terrible: paint all over my floor, crooked lines on the edges and globes of paint on the ceiling from their roller. They had a sub whose truck leaked oil on my driveway and they wouldn't clean it up. Then Lee argued with me as the customer that my expectations for this job was above the level of craftmanship in my house. Therefore, he did not have to complete the job up to my standards since the quality of work in my house was below what I was asking him to do. He also yelled and me and stomped his foot like a two year old child when we were arguing over the work not being done to my satisfaction. Overall, I would never hire them again. There are to many really good contractors that are not hard to work with out there.
