Since the insurer's representative for auto glass claims indicated they could arrange an appointment for repair almost immediately, I decided to go with Safelite.
I was pleased with the choice. The Safelite facility was obviously set up for doing auto glass and only auto glass. The technicians well equipped with appropriate tools and supplies to make quick work of the windshield replacement. The technicians were informative and open about their work, both in setting expectations and describing how they did their work after it was finished. Having worked many years in a service capacity myself, what I saw and heard caused me to feel that this was the right place to go for auto glass work. The shop is set up so the work can be viewed from the waiting room, which speaks to the confidence of being able to do the job well
