Needed a pump replaced in our well. They were the fastest to respond. They came out and replaced the pump. All was ok until a few months later there was a thumping noise every time we turned on the water. We called to get them to come make sure it wasn't related to the original service they performed. They said they would come out and check for $175. We declined.
8 months later we had some pipes freeze and after warming everything back up, there was still no water. The breaker would trip every time we tried to turn it back on. We called them out again to check the problem and the Owner's son claimed we needed a new pump in the well due to a waterlogged pressure tank. Although we just paid $3000 for him to install new wiring and a new pump 8 months ago. We asked if the wiring could be faulty and he boy claimed nothing was his fault( he installed the pump) and that it happened because we neglected to install a new pressure tank. We asked if the pressure tank was checked when they first installed the pump and he said it was fine and a new pump can stir up sediment and cause it to falter. He was very persistent about pulling the pump and checking it etc...Then he continued to explain to us that the wrong pump size was installed for our water quality, although it was the expensive pump that they recommended we install. After multiple phone called back and forth and finally resulting into a screaming fit from this 20 yr old kid on the phone, We became frustrated with all the excuses that sounded fishy to us and called a different company out.  We did not want to risk putting our hard earned money back into these people who we felt were dishonest.
Another company came out a few days later for a much more reasonable price and confirmed that our line was simply just frozen. They heated the line and replaced the pressure tank, everything was fine.  No pumps needed to be pulled and replaced etc and the company assured us the information that kid fed us was very inaccurate and misleading. We also found out that the work that Residential did for us wasn't certified. The owner's son isn't licensed and was supposed to perform the job under his dad's "supervision".
We love to support family owned local business. But don't waste your time and money with Residential Plumbing and Heating for well and pump problems.

I contacted this business when buyer wanted an inspection of the house. Warning! Check BBB listing before using this business. They earned the 'F' rating. They "found" lots of issues, then had a two man team take 20 hours to do the work. No major appliance was replaced. They charged over $4,000 for labor. I did not have any idea this kind of bill was coming as they never would reply to requests for estimates. Note, this was a pretty simple job as plumbing goes. If I had any idea they were going to charge over $200 per hour I would have taken a couple of days off from work and done it myself.

It's a 24 hour service. It is nice. You only have to call one person. Everything was taken care of.

They show up when you call. I live in a small area. He is 24 hours. He has a good availability. He was out when he said he would be. He always calls. His office person is on top of it.

I had just purchased a house and immediately had some heating issues with it.  I had Residential come to review and work on the system as their sticker was on the boiler system.  They came out, inspected and made recommendations.  Among the recommendations was the introduction of glycol into the system to prevent freeze up.  Unfortunately the glycol had a negative affect (and a common one after doing some reading later) and my boiler system melted down a couple of months later.  The circulation pump failed and a pressure relief valve blew which resulted in glycol spilling in the mechanical room, laundry room and kitchen.

I called them to come out and repair the issue knowing the glycol caused the problem.  The company denied recommending the glycol (which I had paperwork showing they were wrong) and then tried to charge me for the repair of the issue they caused.
