They charged us like $218, we had a written estimate for them for $100 less than that. They withheld the estimate, they didn’t give it to us. I had to go get the salesman and he made them get the estimate out. They said oh gee, how did that happen? We were $100 off. We gave them the estimate amount. It was a deliberate misrepresentation. The salesman told the service manager and the installer both, what the price was. It was a new car install, since we bought it, right after we bought the car. They charged us not only a walk-in price, but even higher than that. Their whole service department, on a national recall for the airbag for the driver’s side, which was dangerous; they told us they didn’t have any parts, couldn’t get any parts, and not to bother calling them, they’d call us, if and when it happened. I called the national hotline, they called Kindall in Wasilla and told them, yes, the parts were available. They called us and said Kindall would call us. They didn’t call us, so several weeks later, I called the national. They called Kindall, and the next day, Kindall called and gave us an appointment for the next day. They messed up the install, now we get a steering wheel warning. We went in and had it checked and they damaged some of the relays in the wheel. They ordered a new one, said it would take a week. That’s been going on 3 weeks, and they still have called us. We have to call them and ask what is going on. They are terrible to deal with. We went in to get her remote start, that we purchased with the car, and the person said, well there’s 2 different ones, walk over to the dealership and get the paperwork and bring it back. They could get it out of the computer. You can go in to get work done and they’ll say, well go over to service and get it. It’s like 20 feet away behind the person, they don’t bother to go over and pull it out of the box. So you stand in line for 5-10 minutes, while the guy is on the phone, and he walks over and gets it, within sight of the service person; he hands it to you and you walk over and give it to her. I finally told them no, no more of that. I have complained enough to them that they said the general manager is going to call me. I told the salesman what was going on, he said no, this has to stop.

What they were asking and what we ended up paying were 2 separate things. The sales part, I give an A. I went online and all the Ford dealers in this whole area were the same price. Sales service was good quality. I would buy a car through them, but the service department is terrible. There was no pressure.

Not usually promoting vendors but had a recent experience I thought was worth passing on. I stopped by to try and test drive a Ford Fusion - cold contact with salesman (Patrick O'Neil). Liked the car and the professional service from Patrick. He got another vehicle from Anchorage for us to compare which we ended up purchasing. Here's where the difference came up for me - tale process went smoothly - no "tricks" and no back and forth to get a price. The icing on the cake came when I went to pick up the car, there was only 1 key - an initial frustration as they are expensive to buy and activate. However, without any request from me, the General Manager - Grant Olson stepped in and had a set of spares made for me - at no additional cost. The kind of service I hadn't seen from a car dealer in a long, long time. Highly recommend giving Kendall Ford a chance for your business - I'll return 4 sure.

I had a long weekend scheduled so I called to see about an appointment for Thursday and was told the earliest they could see it was Sunday so I set it up. I was heading out of town so I dropped it off on Thursday morning. I ended up getting a call Saturday that they had gotten it in already and let me know what they found and the approximate cost of repairs. They had it finished just before closing on Saturday but I picked it up Sunday. So I had it back and didn't have to make special arrangements to get to work Monday. The final cost of repairs was about $100 less than I was originally quoted. I give them a "B" for price only because I would like all prices lower.
It has been about 1 1/2 months since repairs and everything is fine

Pulled into service garage - greeted by staff - took down my mileage- confirmed services to be provided- I waited in the waiting room approximately 45 mins.- called up when car was ready - auto manager came and went over the details of the oil change and vehicle inspection - paid them and left happy!

Kendal responded to an internet message about a used car. Sales responded with a call shortly after about a car on the lot. The car was as advertised, however they had a better deal on the show floor for a new Flex. The price was good. I called while driving home and told them to I would take the floor car. I picked it up the next day. Very little hassle. We were in and out in less than an hour and the car was prep'd and ready to go.



I have had two oil changes since and a warranty repair of an oxygen sensor. Their shop is open on Saturday and Sunday, making it very convenient. They have been able to get me in the next week end after I call for an appointment.



I have been happy with their service so far.

I had the maintenance plan for my vehicle and it was like pulling teeth to schedule any type of services. There were several times I called a thousand miles before an oil change was due, and they weren't able to schedule me for the oil change for almost a month. I had to pay for half of my oil changes at a different shop, even though I already paid for them at Kendall. The few times they could find time for me, they were almost always over the estimated time they told me the service would take (i.e. "an hour" usually took at least two hours). Finally, they sold me a set of tires that was supposed to last 80,000 miles and when two of them didn't even make it to 20,000 miles, they apparently didn't have any spots available for that type of work for at least three weeks, even though it was the middle of summer. I had to go to a different shop and get all brand new tires. I pretty much had to pay double for a lot of my routine maintenance, because I was paying for them monthly with the purchase of the plan, and I had to pay for them at the other shop when Kendall couldn't find time for me.

I didn't really have any problems. It took a little while to get in and their rates are not very cheap. If there was another option to service my Ford, I would probably wouldn't use them again.
