Just Floor It - Klay Kastning

I can't say enough good things about it. I am a difficult and picky customer and he was always courteous and responsive. He spent many, many days working at the house and was an amazing worker as well as keeping and exceptionally clean site!!! I trusted him enough to come and go without us home and he never disappointed. He followed all the national tile guidelines for steam rooms (I double checked) and continuously double checked to insure the standards were of the highest quality. His tile work is beautiful, art really. He is also the most likable person with a great way to set the customer at ease. He had good ideas and trusting those ideas was the best decision I made and his personality and professionalism and intelligence made it easy for me to go for it and let go of my preconceived notions that would not have been nearly as nice. I feel confident this project will be a joy for years to come and I was very nervous about putting a steam room in the house because I was afraid about not having it sealed properly but those fears are all gone. He was meticulous about making sure it was steam proof (which is different from mere water drop proof) and essentially went above and beyond what most would have done for a home steam room. He spent the time to choose where to put specific tiles with different shading to enhance the look and lined everything up beautifully so that it would be absolutely gorgeous. I didn't pick the easiest tiles for him to work with either. He's a perfectionist too which goes well with my personality. He has tons of experience and it showed! He's also very good at math which helped when it came to a somewhat complicated barrel ceiling I wanted put in - it's stunning. He also worked really well with the other contractors on the project (plumber and electrician). We are already thinking of other projects at the house for Klay to help us out. I didn't know Klay before this project but his name kept coming up over and over both from other contractors and customers so we finally went with him even though I was very nervous. It was the best decision we made and even though some unexpected delays have occurred, due to no fault of Klay's, he has continued to work diligently to get the project finished and work around/ with the delays. I'm not sure what anyone else would want to know other than I definitely feel the price was worth it and my mind will be totally at ease with confidence that that steam room if water tight and the tile in the best and most beautiful shape possible. My steam room is bound to be the nicest room in the house.
