"Thank you [member name removed]! We appreciate you taking time to leave feedback, and we're thrilled that Jesse and Garrett took good care of you - we will continue to take care of your system and look forward to keeping your home cozy for years to come!"
"I called this customer this morning, because I'm extremely puzzled and frustrated that she left this review. F rating business reviews are very, very harmful to a business. HeatSource takes all feedback very seriously and we are always open to learning how we could have served a customer better. However, the history for this customer is as follows: November 25th 2015 our service technician went to a new property that this customer had purchased to do a boiler start up for her and get the heat on. We had never been to this property before. The technician found that the house had frozen and there were multiple burst pipes in the crawlspace due to the property not being properly winterized. He recommended that the customer call a plumber to repair all the frozen / burst pipes so that the system could be filled and the boiler fired. There was no way to get the system filled with water at that time due to the broken pipes. The customer was angry that she had purchased this house and couldn't move in, and that there were costly problems that were now her responsibility. She angrily left the property to go speak to her real estate agent. We've never heard back from her, she's never let us know that she was unhappy with our service, and I don't see how any of this is a situation in which we could have disappointed her or not met her expectations. We fit her in within one business day of her request for service, we called when we were on our way, we were there when promised and we charged the minimum that had been quoted. The total for the work was not $400, that is inaccurate."
Dan the technician called when he was on his way, arrived promptly and listened carefully to the history of what had been replaced and repaired in the past, and what the current symptoms were. He fixed the system promptly and the charge was high, but mostly parts. It works perfectly now, unlike the last 6 months of half-fixes by another plumbing company.
I will definitely call them in the future if I ever have any problems.
"Hi [member name removed], when I saw this review I immediately pulled the invoice from your February service call in 2012; because your experience didn't sound anything like our business practices. We really pride ourselves on professionalism, and prompt, courteous, skilled service technicians who consistently go above and beyond for our customers. According to the service ticket we were called out to your property on 2/27/12 for no heat. Our service technician diagnosed a dirty cad cell due to excessive soot build up in your oil system. He cleaned it and replaced the nozzle, regapped and cleaned your electrodes, and performed a burner service on the furnace. His recommendation was to call a company (he listed the company name and phone # for you) to perform a power vac of your furnace and stack because the excessive sooting was what caused your situation. I'm unclear what you are referring to in your review in regards to the 1 1/2 pages of recommendations, as that was the recommendation along with quoting a price on the main control if you did continue to have issues with the furnace performance. We have no record of you calling in to let us know you were dissatisfied or needed any clarification, and would have loved to talk to you and have the opportunity to address your concerns. I can assure you we provide the best service we possibly can at the best possible rates, and will do anything we can to go the extra mile for our customers. If there is anything that we can help with, or that you'd like to discuss further please give the office a call."
did the repairs.. and later that day or next.. had a working Ice maker. had to wait 24 hours for ice to build up...so cool. thanks
I was impressed with the excellent quality of work and the professionalism of those doing the work. They were considerate, they cleaned up after themselves, and all the debris was taken away when the job was completed.
Considering our experience, I do not understand the negative reviews given to HeatSource Mechanical, because everyone I had contact with was extremely professional, and the work was accomplished with precision and met high standards.
I would not hesitate to highly recommend this contractor for any work they perform. I am glad we selected them, and we got a top notch job at a fair price.
