It went well.  I was nervous because the quality products that Hard Rock sells are quick costly.  I wanted to make sure we got it right.  We were listing our home for sale and the countertop cost was a consideration.  Our home staging consultant suggested we replace the island countertop to give our kitchen have a real wow factor.  Hard Rock sells the types of countertops that provide that wow factor.  
The countertop selected is absolutely beautiful.  It has made a real difference in the look of our home.  The folks at Hard Rock are professional, punctual and thorough.  Sandra is great about answering questions and made me feel very comfortable with my purchase.
I would definitely recommend them to others.

We like the granite we picked out, but when they installed it, they didn't match the cuts on the granite. Why would you mix square cuts with bullnosed (rounded) cuts? Where the pieces come together cut differently, it looks terrible. We were confused about why this was done, and tried to ask about the original bid, and why we didn't get what we discussed. They immediately became weird about it, and said that bill is secret, and without showing us any sort of breakdown on this, we need to just trust them that the pricing is correct. My direct questioning about how to resolve the mismatched cuts have been ignored and gone unanswered. For such a high priced item, we feel we should be dealt with in a more professional and straight forward manner, and that the cuts should match.

Due to our kitchen island being so large and having full overlay cabinets it made it difficult to reinforce the bar hangover (10" overhang) They were the only place having the experience and confidence in their product to do what we wanted without modifying the granite (which makes it weaker). In confidence they demonstrated two 170 lb adults sitting on their 16" overhanging counter without it breaking!! We didn't need to reinforce the blue pearl granite due to it's strong consistencies. They were about $400 more than other companies but their product, confidence, reviews and customer service was worth it.

A flooring store recommended them. Their prices were comparable to the big box stores and the product was higher class. We would most definitely use them again.
