Daniel of Gibson Roofing came over checked it out, gave me a price. Within one week he and his employees came over, on time, worked their 8 hours and completed the roof. They cleaned up the old roofing, etc. I had a few questions before they came over to do the job, and Daniel took his time to answer my questions. Everyone was polite, even from the office. I would use them again.

I had heard good things about Gibson so chose them for my repair. However, several times they said they would be out and never showed up. I finally asked to speak with the manager and they showed up the next day. I understand one of their workers had died so they were having some scheduling problems. However, this went on for a month. I was out of town while a family member had surgery and my renter didn't contact me to let me know the work was never done. This resulted in severe water damage in the home as it was a rainy month.
Still, the work went well and only took them a day once they started.
I think I would use them again but be more diligent about making sure they show up.

Gibson Roofing folks were excellent. Mr. Green was fast, coming right over and answering all my questions. The roofing crew was very courteous and professional. 1/2 day to pull old shingles and cleanup, 2nd day they completed everything . Great job guys, thanks!!

They were doing roof work in our neighborhood. They did a very good job. Their repair was $200 under the estimate. They were really good. The repair work was in a very bad place and they did a great job. I would definitely recommend them. We would definitely use them to do our whole roof when we get to it. They took the time to explain. They had a lot of good information on roofing. They were quick to come back which was unusual for this time of the year.

The actual installation was a piece of cake. It was a quick 30min job and was done well, without problems. Getting a quote and actually getting a guy to come and do the work was terrible. From first phone call to last, it was over an excessively long time lapse...for a job that was promised to be quick and easy. Although the Gibson crew does great work, the communication/customer service leaves MUCH to be desired, which was frustrating.

Worked in the job between rain-storms and a busy construction season. Had estimated a more major job, did a good evaluation with a few shingles off and completed the repairs needed effectively and at a much lower cost than the estimate. They know roofs, know how to fix with minimum repairs and are great to work with.

I called to get an estimate for my home. They told me they have a man in the area and he would be by later that day. Approximately 5 days later, I had the estimate. Called 13 June 2013 to schedule to reroof my home. They set an appointment of either 17 or 18 June 2013, depending on how the current job they were working was completed. I was in no hurry so either date was good for me. They showed up at 9:15 AM and started working. They laid down plastic all over the yard and on our deck. They removed the old roof. They inspeced the decking and determined none needed to be replaced. The new roof was installed. I came home about 4:00 PM. They were finishing up. The roof looked great. They finished clean up and left at approximately 4:45 PM. The yard was cleaned up and to this day I have not found a single staple from the old roof or nails from the new install. I am very happy with the results and the house looks great. Thank you Gibson Roofing!

I cannot say enough good things about this company. They came out quickly and gave me an estimate that was well below other estimates that I received. I did not meet the estimator. I didn't even realize he was even here until I got the quote in my email box. However he was very responsive to all my questions via email and put up with me changing my mind several times without any complaints. I called them to schedule the service and was able to get on the schedule the week that I wanted (but I did start the process fairly early after all the snow was melted). I did have to call back to get an exact date that wasn't given to me when I scheduled the service. They showed up around 9:00 am on the date that was scheduled. It was pretty impressive to see how many people were assigned to the job. I thought it would take them a couple days to finish the job but they were VERY fast and VERY professional. It literally took only 4 1/2 hours to completely tear down and reroof my 2100 sq foot house. All of the gentlemen that I spoke to were very polite and seemed to really like what they were doing and the company they were working for. The clean up was beyond expected. After they left, I found 1 small piece of a shingle (which in all fairness would have been under the truck and not visible) and a small piece of plastic from a shingle wrapper and that was it. Amazingly, they weren't even that noisy while they here. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

My Husband and I were very happy with the outcome. We were a little disappointed with the communication. There was some confusion as to whether the estimator had looked at our roof. My husband had to make several phone calls over several days to find out where they were in the process. Once that was sorted out we were happy with their service. Very nice and friendly.

It went very well. Was always very good at communicating when the job was going to happen. At the cold temperture they worked in, they earned every cent! Yes roofers work in the winter and have more time for smaller jobs such as mine.

I am completely satisfied with the responsiveness, estimate, and work done. My only problem is for the amount of time the roofer was at work, 30 minutes, I think the charges were excessive. I understand the purpose of an estimate, but for the time spent and materials used that the final charges were too much. I will use this company again, but first I will negotiate.

It is true that the repair only took a short time but in those 30 minutes we had a net profit of less than $50. After we pay the wages for the estimator, wages roofer, the receptionist who took your call, workman's comp insurance for all those employees, fuel for both trips out there, misc materials, federal taxes, state taxes, general liability insurance, vehicle insurance and payroll benefits, thats about all we are left with."

The job was done well and the one problem I found after completion was two shingles that were not properly trimmed. I contacted Gibson and the next day the problem was resolved. My only complaint was the trash that was left on my property following installation. Specifically, the plastic strips that cover the adhesive strips on the back of the shingles was left on my yard, and in the bushes. Took me about 20 minutes to clean it up. Not really a big issue, but I do believe they should have picked it up.
Aside from the trash, I am very pleased with the outcome. Prior to hiring Gibson I talked with a couple roofers who were not bidding on the project and an employee at SBS and they all had very positive things to say about Gibson Roofing.

The reason for this is they are not actually plastic, they are cornstarch based and will disintigrate within a few days. It was a great experience. Estimator was prompt and thorough. Estimate was well within expected range. Crew showed up on time with all appropriate equipment and was very professional every step of the way. They removed the old roof and insulation, cleaning up as they went. They then worked around the insulators the foam was being sprayed sheathing and drying in other sections of the roof. By the end of day one the rain was threatining so any portion not dried in was covered with plastic for the night. The next day they arrived early in the morning finished all the dry in, flashing and vents by the end of the day. On day three they shingled and finished up all the small details that make it a professional, well done job. They insured all areas were cleaned and my yard was left the way they found it. Although I was not sure I would like a shingle roof on my house, but after It was done I was overjoyed that it was an included option. Not only did the roof look fantastic, it fit the house and area far better than the metal one ever did. I can't say enough good things about Gibson Roofing and their crew.

Simply superb at each step of the process: responsive with a quick estimate, took the time to explain the roof "system", options, and possible unforeseen repair necessities that may be encountered once work started. Answered all questions before the written estimate was presented. Estimate and actual cost were spot-on! We did have a few "last minute" items added at our request ( bathroom fan and ducting replacement, and facia board replacement ) which they were more than willing to do for us. Arrived on the scheduled day, professional in every aspect, a dedicated crew that clearly knew what they were doing, finished in one day . . No additonal clean-up required. Looks great ! Couldn't be more satisfied with Gibson roofing. Many thanks to Bill and the entire crew. A CLASS ACT !!

Well, considered one of the best in the valley, recc'd to us by a local contractor/friend who has used them for 15+ years. This was no cheap roof, we passed on several cheaper estimates from companies in business here for just as long. Our experience wasn't good. Did not perform all the work initially quoted, went wildly over estimate when it took them too long to install new product with which they had no experience (wanted us to pay for their learning curve) and were very unclear about estimated cost for additional work that did need performed. Settled it all for a somewhat reasonable amount when all said and done, but am left 2+ years later with shingles that never really set even though top line 50 year product (had been quoted hand tabbed if needed, but that got lost in the shuffle) flashing that I have already had to reflash (lost in the shuffle) and a generally uneasy feeling about the work in general. They have a lot of crews, some probably more skilled than others, hope you get a good one.

The price for work came in at almost the same price as 2 other companies. I decided to go with the one that was from my area. The other 2 quotes where from outside the valley. Gibson roofing was the only valley company to return my call for an estimate. The work was performed as agreed (tear off of old shingles, placement of new and disposal of debris) including sweeping for stray nails around the yard when done. Work was completed in a day.
