Description of Work: Wow, is this the shadiest credit union/bank ever ever EVER. I've banked at many financial institutions, but only here have I ever sought out places to post my experiences. In short, these folks will rip you off for every penny they can. If there is any way to make money off you, they will do it, regardless of the expense to you, both monetarily and credit-wise. I was warned when I moved to Alaska to stay away from these guys, and I should have listened. Please listen to me and pick ANYONE else to do business with.

 + -1 moreIt started out fine. David said there would be no problem meeting the timeline he was giving. I talked to him a few time and he maintained that he could meet the time line.The day before closing I was told by my realtor that closing was being put off for up to five more day.David made no effort to notify me that he was not on the scheduled he agreed to. I called him and he treated me like a total idiot. He was unresponsive. he never took any responsibility for his or his company's short coming.
Description of Work: I was miss lead to believe that could meeting my timeline. I did not find out that they were not able to meet their commitment until the day before I was scheduled to close. My closing was put off for days, costing time, money, effort and heart ache. Do not use David Leavitt as your mortgage loan officer.

 + -1 moreHe would give 100 percent on that bank because they have been prompt and definitely very effective giving him all details which he had requested for months, if there was something he had come with a balance which he was not sure about they would fix it right away.
Description of Work: My husband uses USA Alaska as his bank for probably 12 years.
