Great service.  Was over $60 less than quoted.  Arrived on-time, only took approximately 30 minutes from start to finish.  Technicians were very friendly and informative, explained all the work that was performed.

They came in an emergency, very timely, and helped us out while we were on vacation, and had a house sitter.  They have also serviced our boiler system numerous times and have always done an excellent job!

they were very professional and on time.it took them 2 days to take out the old furnace and install the new one.they disposed of the old furnace and left everything very clean.before leaving they made sure we understood how to operate the new furnace.

Contractor perform site survey and provide an estimate within 72 hours. Estimate was significantly less than other bidders. Scheduled the work within a week of receiving the components and arrived on time. Provided cheerful, courteous, friendly service - working into the evening to ensure the work was completed in one day. Professional installation fully documented, he provided an assortment of manuals and warranty papers covering all elements of the system, removed all components of the previous boiler system, and completely cleaned up the worksite before leaving.

The quality of workmanship was great.  They didn't use cheap components, nor did they cut corners to save a few bucks (which may have something to do with earlier comments on this page) and the job was done with care and efficiency.  I have seldom seen a cleaner "dress right dress" installation  job then they did....(I'm using language people who have not have had the privilege to serve in our armed services may not understand...)They are not the cheapest Heating Contractor in town but they probably are the best.I'm a retired engineer who has 77 years experience in various areas and I recommend Kraft Heating without reservation.....well....
BUT...I can't comment on how Kraft Heating responds to a heating emergency because I've had no experience with them in that situation...Fairbanks is a cold town and when you need help you need it NOW..so I can't contradict the other comments...at the moment, I believe they would do the same outstanding job they did installing out new burner/boiler.

Kraft was used by a general contractor that was doing some extensive work on our house. It is a family run business, but definately lacking in qualifications. His guys removed our boiler and water softener, and re-routed some water pipes. Then they replaced the boiler and water softener. Come to find out, ...not all boiler guys are plumbers, hmmm. This was a new one for me, so just be aware when looking for a Plumbing and Heating service. His guys can do boilers, and they do them pretty well, but they don't do much else. So if another issue arrises, like plumbing, then they're guessing. The finishing touches were sloppy, and fishing was more important than fixing an improperly installed water softener that leaked all over my garage and almost ruined the brand new sheetrock that had just been installed. After the fishing trip, the missing piece was installed by the owner, Dennis, who apparently knows nothing about water softeners. I'm glad for this experience, because now I know that Boiler and Heating companies need to be qualified plumbers as well. I had assumed this, but no more. I will never use Kraft again!

cold & costly, will never use KRAFT again!!!

Kraft normally does our annual boiler maintenance as well as any emergency issues that come up.  They are always quick to respond, punctual, respectful/polite,and reasonably priced.  I am not very well-versed in heating system language, but I don't need to be, because they always explain what they are doing in layman's terms and make sure I understand how things work and what I'm getting for my money.  I wouldn't use anyone else!  Plus, they are locally owned and operated, which is a big bonus.
