There was nothing I could do, so I had to agree. He then told me he couldn't make it back that day. Could we make it later in the week? I have already wasted a whole day off work waiting for this guy, and he tells me I am going to have to take off another day? He walked out the door and almost left his entire bag of tools in my dining room. If I hadn't shouted for him...
After he left, I called the company, and they were very sympathetic, apologized for Dave, and said it was not their policy to work that way. About an hour later, I get a call from Dave and he is on his way back with the parts. He comes in and proceeds to replace my dimmer with a white switch that does not fit my oak switch plates. It was obviously a toggle dimmer, and he brought this clunky square thing that did not fit my existing switch. He installed my heat trace and the insisted I sign the paper agreeing he had been to my house for 2 hours. Bull pucky! I told him I was now going to have to replace by oak switch plate that I bought 15 years ago, and the chances of ,matching it were zero. He didn't care. He left. And quite frankly, I wanted him out of my house.
He left. I called the company once more and told them what he did the second time. They assured me I would not be paying for his blunders. I have yet to see the bill. While I was talking to the woman, I turned around, and Dave had left his drill on my table. I told her I was putting his drill outside on my porch, and I really did not want to see him again.
"[Member Name Removed] Bright Services is sorry that you feel a F is warranted even though we worked with you to remedy the situation and never billed you for the items, time that were incurred. What more could we have done to correct the situation. (Dave was released two weeks later) Sorry Paul Koop Owner of Bright Services Inc. 1410 Richardson Hwy North Pole Alaska 99705"
