I had been a regular customer with Wells Fargo for ten years. I became absolutely disgusted with the behavior of the corporation as they were a responsible party in the nationwide home mortgage fraud. Not having a seat on the board of directors and not being a major holder of shares outstanding, my only option was to 'vote with my feet'. I set up an account with another bank and moved my automatic deposits, bill pay, and such.
Unfortunately I missed one of these which exceeded the balance of my checking account by a whopping $13.26. The sum total of fees and fines was $156. What part of this makes sense?
Do your part to punish corporate greed and illegal behavior and move your banking elsewhere.
