The Woodway

We bought a wonderful bush/weed trimmer. We worked with Jon Sandford at the Woodway. He even took the trimmer outside and let me start it up myself before we bought it. I absolutely love it and it works great.

James was very helpful to come to our house, walk around the room, and offer suggestions for the placement of the Toyo. Madison was a very skilled and quick with the installation. Madison was also very helpful to track-down an oil gravity flow issue, and install a valve to correct the problem. The office staff was always very courteous when we stopped by with questions or called on the phone.

Everything has a price and the Woodway is no exception. While they may be a little higher than others in town, they definitely provide customer service far beyond the price you pay making everything even in the end!

In each instance we were treated professionally, with courtesy, and they were actually just very nice folk. What we were quoted on price was what we paid, they would suggest items (the wood racks) that were less expensive, but just as good (interested in what we wanted and not just our money), and answered all our questions.
I highly recommend this company, their personnel, and we plan to go back there again for our future needs.

Bill and Dale are very good at what they do and I would love to work with them again. They came out on the first day, on time, and were always very professional and knowledgeable. Whenever a problem would come up they would talk to us and puzzle things out with us. They always cleaned up after themselves and treated our house as if it were they're own, very respectfully. When I work with The Woodway again, I will request Bill and/or Dale.
Shep needs to retire or work behind the counter. He is a very nice man, but his ideas are not up to code. He even once suggested cutting the trusses in my attic....I don't think so. He made a mess of that pass-thru vent and now I will have to re-sheetrock part of my upstairs hallway and part of a closet to repair the damage done. I know he was trying to do what was asked of him, but he is sloppy with his work.

I really liked their professionalism and customer service. Their billing is 100% accurate and they work with me so that I don't get charged a lot of money. They are one of the best companies I have ever dealt with.

I bought a wood stove and had The Woodway do the install. Total price was around $3,400.The quality of the product was good.At the store, the customer service was poor. They were borderline rude and need to learn more customer professionalism. The installers who did the work for "The Woodway" were rather rude, however they did a good job.Phone calls were not made back to me on the time frames that were given. This is one of the only Wood Stove stores in Fairbanks, Alaska, thus they have the market cornered. Bummer.
