Sherpa Tree Service
About us
Sherpa Tree Service is a family owned and operated business specializing in safe removal of hazardous trees near your home or other valuable property. We do the jobs that are too risky or tough for everyone else. The owner, Grady, has over 5 years training, practicing business and hazardous tree removal experience in Fairbanks, Alaska. Depending on the season, Sherpa Tree Service typically has 1 or 2 employees who function as "groundies" to Grady the climbing arborist. We also offer 24/7 EMERGENCY removal of trees and fallen limbs after storms. Brush chipping, disposal of all debris, and a thorough cleanup is included in tree removal. We strive to leave your property looking cleaner than we found it. If you want stump grinding, Sherpa Tree Service will sub-contract stump grinding to a specialized service but can accomplish this on our own if equipment rental is cost effective. In an effort to steward our planet well we recycle 100% of our collected organic materials with Risse Greenhouses so it can be processed into locally developed topsoil and garden mulch. We also use emissions-free electric chainsaws whenever possible and favor biodegradable products. Our paper-reducing, tree-loving billing and estimates are delivered digitally. We accept PayPal, cash, check, and all major credit cards. We are fully insured and happy to provide a copy of our certificate of insurance to customers upon request. We do not require customers to make payment up front. Payment is due upon completion of work and any payment 30 days past due incurs a 20% late fee. Sherpa Tree Service is the best option when you need to remove a tree beside your house.

"I appreciate the work, [Member Name Removed]. It was good to use my new brush chipper. Thanks for quick online payment!"
"Thank you, [Member Name Removed]. That tree by the fence was an interesting job; and the great Oak is a beautiful tree."
"Thanks for the work, [Member Name Removed]. Everyone at your office was so hospitable. I look forward to serving you in the future. I trust that logistics will go smoother next time."
"Hi [Removed Member Name] , we really appreciate the opportunity to work! It might be a good idea to give the Magnolia tree in the backyard 5-10 gallons of water a week until the end of November (don't worry about it weeks that it rains . . . like this week!)."
"Yo [Member name removed]! I think we make a good team. Keep those BIG projects coming. ;-) Thank you for the being the fastest paying client I have."
"Hi [Member Name Removed], I appreciate the review. Thank you for letting me complete the work while you were away. I'm glad your trust in my discernment turned out well!"
"Those Holly trees were like handling porcupines and I didn't even wear long sleeves that day :-). It's all part of the job. Thank you for the work, prompt payment, and referral to your neighbor! Keep me in mind for the future. Here is a link to an inexpensive "tree-bandage" which you can wrap around that mysterious wound on that young Oak tree you showed me: [Removed Hyperlink]. It will deter insects and probably even some small critters if that was the cause of the wound."
"Getting that fallen Cedar Elm off the roof was a terrific challenge, removing the half that was still standing was the easy part. It just shows that even really sturdy Texas trees, like Cedar Elm, can easily blow over in a storm and damage the house. The trunk of that tree was so hollowed out that water collected inside and it came gushing out when I cut into it with the chainsaw; that was an experience! I'm glad the roofing guys were able to get that hole covered before the rain started!"
"I'm glad you decided to have me remove that Cedar Elm limb hanging over your roof. The trees in your backyard look much better with all those dead limbs removed. Thanks for referring Josh to me as well! By the way, I talked to your neighbors and they are planning to have me remove that uber ugly dead tree in their yard as soon as the vegetable garden surrounding it is done for the season."
