Jeff Labrenz gave me a verbal quote and before I had anything in writing he came over and started the work. After one day the price went up 700.00 and he refused to finish the rest of the job as he did not want to "run up the bill any higher" until I paid the full amount of his new bill.
Suggestions when dealing with Labrenz
GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING BEFORE HE STARTS!
Talk to him about what happens if he gives you a quote and then decides the job is worth more to him then what he told you.
If he tells you, "you can make payments" DON'T! He told me I could make payments to him acted like it was not a big deal and then texted me right away to pressure me for payment.
Check out other business FIRST! Labrenz prices are very high. You can find someone to do the same job for less.

It went really well. Jeff and his team got the job done a bit sooner than we thought during a busy Fairbanks summer. He actually returned phone calls and made appointments (sometimes a bit late, but OK).
Work was done well and we were given pointers about how to get some of the work done ourselves to save money.
Provided us with all the instructions and checked in to make sure grass was growing and helped us troubleshoot problems.
Only real issue is with the concrete sub who poured such a large area two cracks showed up almost immediately.
I feel that we definitely paid for what we got, but it got done! There were a few cost over runs but service made up for it.

Excellent , professional with finished product being the best that I have ever seen. I would definitely use him in the future.

They were very professional and did not try to oversell. They listened to the wishes of the clients and they were very prompt and did a good job of clean-up.
