Dan and his team did an excellent job all the way through replacing my roof. Dan was very easy to get ahold of and communicated timely, which is difficult to find in Fairbanks contractors these days. They all showed up on time when they said they would, worked hard and efficiently each day, and cleaned up my yard to thoroughly at the end of the roofing project. I would absolutely hire Great Pacific Contractors again and recommend to anybody who needs their roof repaired/replaced.

Did the job well and quickly, although getting response for initial inquiry and estimate was a bit spotty.

Dan's and his team are amazing. They did wonderful work removing my old cedar shingle roof and installing a new architectural style shingle roof with all new associated roofing hardware. Prior to installing the new roof, they removed an old chimney chase. Every day they cleaned up and at the end, a thorough clean up left virtually nothing on the ground or in the gutters. I recommended Dan's company to our neighbor and they hired him to replace their roof. The military discount is also nice. Thanks Dan!

From start to finish, working with Dan was a top notch experience! Customer service and construction skills A+++!!! Immaculate work, I had NO IDEA how absolutely gorgeous the transformation would be. Realizing this was a complete roof replacement and upgrade (vs a newborn child LOL) lyrics from Stevie Wonder's 'Isn't She Lovely" kept playing in my mind and honestly, still do today. That's how good this is! I'll be submitting another project for Dan's evaluation and estimation and praying he can fit us in!!!

Unfortunately, our experience with Great Pacific Contractors is mixed. It is hard for me to post this as Dan is very personable and kind. He has come by in the winter to check how the roof was done. We have talked many times and each time he has said he would be by to finish the job but unfortunately has not followed through. He and his crew replaced our roof and built eves. Dan said if I picked up the eve material he would have it installed. Most of the job has been finished. However, after a year it is still sitting incomplete. The back of the house has about a 10-foot section of unfinished eves. Also, within the year two areas of eve material have fallen loose from the edge. And during the recent wind storm, we had one shingle fall off and noticed some others came loose. The calling and texting by myself and my husband to get the job done are daunting and disappointing. In hindsight, we would have gone with another contractor and not paid the second half of the payment until the job was finished. Sincerely Carrie and Tom Narrow

Dan Hubb, of Great Pacific Contractors, contacted me quickly then came to my house and made a rapid and reasonable cost estimate. He and his crew of 2 men then did excellent work replacing my asphalt-shingled roof and re-tarring my flat garage roof in one and three-fourths days that included rain, but no water came through. They did first-rate work, and Dan and his crew were very friendly and personable.

The crew did good work, keeping to the promised schedule and operating within the estimated cost. My only other comment, and it is a minor one, is that a few (at least an half-dozen) tacks/nails were missed in the clean up and several pieces of the old roofing.

This company is fair fast and polite. I am hiring them for other projects in my home.

We were 'in the loop' as to what was being done. The workers were very careful when they removed old roofing, and collected all materials that dropped on ground.
