Blue Ribbon Grooming and Dawg Wash Salon

It would have had a better rating simply for the dawg wash but Blue Ribbon is not the best. you can hear the dogs in the kennels while washing your dog, she get frustrated and loud and a bit forceful with the animals being groomed. the Dawg Wash is Great though everything you need is there for you to use and is so convenient. I love it. like I said it would have got a higher rating but you hear her and the dogs and it sounds pitiful.

This was my second time getting my dogs groomed there. The first time, I had them actually groomed and it was done exactly how I told them NOT to do it. I paid approx. $125 for a full service cut/groom. I have used the self-wash services there, which I DO recommend. Very handy and affordable. however, my dogs needed cleaning, and I thought I'd pay them to do it for me. I did not ask the price(my mistake). They were bathed and brushed,and the bill was $115. ???? Having bichons, the grooming is difficult, and I was shocked that the cost to WASH would be almost identical to the price for a full service groom. I will not use them again for grooming.

My 75 pound dog got into something really sticky and got it pretty much all over her. She is a lab/shepherd mix and loves water, so we gave her several baths at home with little success. We took her to Dawg Wash, which is near downtown Fairbanks. We asked for a standard wash plus some extras (trim nails is one I remember).
They got her clean, but while she was in the kennel, waiting for pickup, she pooped. Got it all over herself. They rewashed her, without being asked, and at no extra charge. We got back a clean dog in a cheerful mood. I don't have much to compare them with, but I am happy with the service and the extra cleanup merited the "professionalism" rating.
Since our dog likes baths, we have little need to take her back routinely. I would not hesitate to do so if she needed it.
Note: I have no idea what relevance "home build year" has to taking my dog to a dog wash, so I out in the year we bought a house. We had the dog washed in 2012.
