I had extreme pain in my hand to where I could not hold anything in it. I
had gone to PT for several months and it was not working and Dr.
diagnosis at another clinic was wrong. I went to Dr. Jensen and he
diagnosed osteoarthritis in my thumb. He gave me a steroid shot which
eased the pain,but ultimately suggested surgery to alleviate pain
altogether. I researched the procedure and was confident in his ability.
He was very thorough and explained what he was going to do. I felt this
was my only alternative to getting use of my hand back. Also that is
what all the research says too. He worked with my insurance and was very
patient with my questions. I would recommend him to anyone looking for
a solution to osteoarthritis in your hand.

I had a subluxed tendon that needed to be fixed. During the preop. Dr. Jensen was extremely nice and very good about listening to everything and offering his own opinions as well as being very receptive to my own opinions. The surgery went very smoothly and there was very minimal scaring. He has wonderful beside manners and is very confident and adept at his job, and he will try and find any way of minimizing the cost to the patient that he can. The staff at Aurora Plastic Surgery are also extremely helpful and kind. I would highly recommend them for any hand and wrist procedures.
