It went fine, although they charged 'extra' for exercising your dogs. They do walk the dogs daily. Although I thought that playing with your animal(s) is what one pays for when they stay at a kennel. I would likely use them again for short-term care 2-4 days. There was cement floor in kennel, so we provided blankets/etc for the critters.

I called and they set up the appointment for the next day. The shelter dropped my puppy off to have the procedure done and after it was finished Animal House called and gave me the time I could pick her up. When I picked her up they went over proper care and how to administer the pain meds. They answered all my questionable were really polite. I'd recommend them to a friend.

The only positive thing to say is that my dogs survived their stay... Unfortunately my bank account did not. This place nickel and dimmed us; a 10 day stay for 2 dogs cost us nearly $900. To start with our dogs had all their shots etc prior to going which they verified prior to dropping them off. On the final bill... $40 per dog for worming including a $5 fee to dispose of the needles. Requested a bath for pick up, no cost was given but expected $20 per dog, was billed for over $100. They were not groomed just bathed. We were encouraged to. Pay for individual play packages. We wanted them played w together we were told $9 per session together, final cost was $9 per dog but not for a longer session. Finally our 1 year old pup got a nervous belly, since this was her first time being boarded, the vet completely over did it charging over $100 in meds and special food. But she wasn't too sick for the special play in fact their notes state she was playful alert and eating/ drinking. When I asked to discuss the final bill the manager was completely stone walled. I requested a break on the bill or some adjustment and was told no discounts until our dogs were there for more than 10 days. I responded by saying I would tell everyone to never bring their animals there that they completely take advantage and pad their bills, she replied OK. A little good will could have gone a long way in this situation but I was totally dismissed. Never take your animals here!

My dog had a current kennel cough vaccination but when i got her home she
had kennel cough so i called them and told them. They said that's too
bad and then i had to go to the additional expense of taking her to my
vet to get medicine for the kennel cough. I would not use this place

They schedule your dogs appointment so you don't have to wait long at all. However, if an emergency comes in they will ask you to wait until that is handled. I don't have a problem at all with that. The vet is very kind and sweet to the dogs. The dogs know her very well now, but at the beginning it was different. The vet got down on the floor and got to know them. They have their carpet lined that gets washed between each patients visit. They spray the floors so there is no chance of catching something that the previous animal might have had. The vet even sanitizes her hands before touching the animals. The price is very reasonable for the service. They are very good with the animals and the owners of the animals. If you have questions you can call them with any concerns you may have and they don't charge you for the call.
