I called them and explained my confusion and concern and received a very quick response from Hunter to explain the phone number on the text. He heard what my problem was with the garage door and said he was in Anchorage at that time and could stop by to look at the door on his way back to Eagle River. When he came, he was easily able to identify the problem with the door and adjust the door and the drive motor so the door opened easily. In the process, he explained how the door mechanism worked and how to take care of it. He also lubricated all the door rollers so they worked smoothly. I was very satisfied with his willingness to come quickly and to explain everything he did to make sure the door functioned properly, as well as to let me know that the door springs might be nearing the end of their useful life -- and what to look for if that happened.. I would certainly recommend Bigfoot Garage Doors to anyone in the Anchorage area who needs quick, informed, and reliable service on their garage door.
