Not so well. One month and one day after installation the garage door failed in an explosive way. The springs pulled out of the header and wrapped the wires around the springs and damaged the operator computer as well as some of the garage door components. The root cause was that the installer used lag bolts and didn't pre drill. The header split causing the failure. When Door systems was contacted they sent the same installer out and he told them that the installation was done correctly and then Door systems told me that I would have to pay to have the problem repaired. I sent them home and got another firm to repair the door at a cost of $1260.00. I still have the failed parts and it is clear that the failure was caused by lack of pre drilling.
Now the company is sending me a bill for their man to come and do nothing: $90.00.

"We apologize for the experience, we wish it had turned out better as well. Had the spring pad been screwed into place by the building framer, instead of only nailed, this failure would never have happened. The springs are under extremely high tension and all springs pads have to be screwed in to prevent this failure. If our installer had caught the mistake of the building framer, this could've been avoided, but this unfortunately did not happen. We attempted to make this right but had to remove our employee from the situation as he did not deserve to be yelled at. This also happened an extremely long time ago and is not a good reflection of our company as our techs are all trained to catch this sort of thing now."
