Shawn Severson showed up on time to assess the job and provide a bid. He was the third of three contractors asked to bid. Shawn quickly formed an opinion about how to approach the job -- open the ceiling to remove the existing device before installing a new one, or swapping out the guts of a new device (same brand) into the frame of the existing device without needing to do drywall work.
Of the three contractors asked to bid, Shawn instilled the most confidence that he knew what he was talking about and had command of how to do the job.
His bid also was slightly lower than the other two.
Best of all, he said he could do the job right then. After I agreed, Shawn worked efficiently and was tidy. Soon the vent/heater/light was functional again, and it has operated perfectly in the weeks since Shawn's work.

Bear Wire Electric (Shawn) delivered professional, timely, and affordable service for our list of electrical items. He called me right back after the first message I left asking for pricing, he was very friendly, and even fit me in earlier than expected! Shawn provided all the paperwork I needed for realestate purposes on-site before he left. Great experience! If we weren't moving out of state, i'd definitely be calling him again.

Most reasonable bid of 3 by far. Work was done when they said it would be. Communication was clear and included a follow up call for satisfaction. I will gladly refer others to Bear Wire.

I contacted Shawn and he was able to come the next day. As the job was relativly small, it's sometimes hard to get someone to come for only 2.5 hrs. of work. He was on time and prepared for the work. Everything on the home indpection addendum was accomplished and up to NEC code. Billing was electronic and all happened right there on site. Modern technology allowed for a bill to be sent via E mail and I wrote the check. No mail delay. He also accepts credit cards. BAMM! Right there!
I try to support businesses and services in the local area (Eagle River). Always nice to see an abitious owner/operator providing a great service.

I went with Bear Wire Electric based on a recommendation from a colleague of mine at work who had some work done and was VERY pleased with the result.

During the bid, Shawn came out to the house, and after listening to what I wanted, offered up some alternatives that would accomplish exactly what I wanted. He was honest about what could be done, and what would likely be more difficult (expensive) to accomplish.

The day the work was to be done, they showed up on time, and everything was professionally executed. The guys were GREAT to work with, and did everything they could to make sure my wife and I were fully satisfied. Everything we asked for was done in just a few hours, the work areas neatly cleaned up, and to my FULL satisfaction. The next time I need electrical work, I know who to call.

Shawn is as honest and sincere and competent as anyone I have ever come across in the trades - I'm 59 years old, and I've hired a LOT of contractors over the years. I liked this guy!

They were outstanding. We have used them twice. They were very fast, very professional. One of the lights that he installed was a motion detector, and it was supposed to turn on automatically. He checked the functionality of that and made sure it triggered well. He was really good, I am really impressed. They were there exactly when he said he would be, and the price was excellent for the work that he did.

I have used this provider several times. They have always been prompt, courteous, thorough, and fairly priced.
