Mike is very good about listening to what I want or need, helping me to define my plan, identifying any potential problems with the build plan, and then executing the job even better than i expected.  He is a talented carpenter and craftsman who takes the time to do the job right the first time.  Not that he wastes time, he is a non-stop worker and you definitely get your money's worth from him.  
For the dog kennel, I still wanted to be able to have enough room to park my crew cab pickup truck in the garage.  The dog doors were already in place from a previous run that I had when I had a smaller vehicle, so Mike didn't have to build those.  However, if he had to build them, I am confident that they would be perfectly installed.  The fit was going to be tight with only a couple inches to spare, but Mike helped me with that as well by suggesting I place sandbags on the floor so that I could feel exactly where to stop my truck.  What a great idea!  Now I don't have to worry about did I leave enough room to close the garage door behind the truck or whether I had gotten too close to the fence.
I've used Mike's services in the past and always feel that I get more value from his work than any other handyman I've ever used.  I feel completely safe when he's working and know he is honest and cares about his work and his customer.  I plan to continue to use Mike's services for any job, big or small and recommend him as the "go to" guy.

We painted the downstairs but did not want to paint the entire upstairs.  Another remodeling contractor gave us Mike's number.  Mike is mostly a painting contractor but he does do other work.  He came to work with a helper and finished the work in one day.  They were fast, friendly and clean.
