They were overbooked and had an accountant as the project lead. Much work had to be redone because of poor quality. Some of the work done by subcontractors was very good, and they were always willing to repair poor quality work,  so there were some positives. Some materials recommended were not generally acceptable as standard, for example, standard sheet rock behind tile instead of wall material designed for tile installation.  
Billing was not accurate. Costs were added for work not in the original contract, but work not performed was not deducted from costs.

After hiring the company in November 2012 it took until February 2013 to complete the work.
