Sourdough Transfer

They were quick--finished the move in one day when we had been quoted 2. But this was because packing was not done well. Our moving agent (who was lovely) called with our final quote, which was about $1200 higher than expected. She said this was because of the "low density" of our shipment--things were not packed efficiently. She knocked off a few hundred dollars for that. 
On the other end, while unpacking, we saw what "low density" meant. Shoes were wrapped with 7 pieces of paper. So many boxes had so much paper, when the objects didn't need it! I unpacked a large box with 2 pillows and about 20 sheets of paper. Very disappointing. On the plus side, nothing was broken.
They packed things we asked them not to--a ladder, weed eater, things we wouldn't need when we moved into an apartment in Virginia. And they didn't pack things--curtains, shower curtains, mounted shelving--these had to be called out in our walkthrough. 
Packers were polite and clean, they laid down plastic throughout the house to walk on. Appreciated since we had sold the house. 

Packed our house to move from Alaska to Georgia. Did a great job. Professional and polite.

I would definitely recommend them. They went one step further and helped me contact another truck rental company so that I could make the rest of the trip myself. They were very friendly and helpful and the price was right.
