This provider did 2 simple 1040 tax returns incorrectly. She did not ask the necessary questions to file my returns accurately.
She made a lot of errors that would have put me in debts with IRS. I had to do my returns over.
She was very poor at returning my calls
I told her she could call me at anytime if she had any questions, she never did, I had to call and follow up on things myself. I finally came to the conclusion that she is not as knowledgeable and professional as she claimed, I left a message for her to meet with me to collect my W 2's.
That's when the provider decided to call me back to say my returns were ready. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt by paying her the price she charged, but I was feeling very skeptical about the returns. when I returned home, I've had to do the returns over with the information the provider never asked me for and on both returns there was refunds.
I put a stop on the check, and told the provider, I was not pleased with the work she did, I was willing to pay her something for the effort, but she insisted on me paying her the full price of $225.00 for incorrect returns that I did not used. The provider has filed a small claim to make me pay for poor and unsatisfied services she provided. I am paying the full amount she requested because I do not want to waste anymore time or money with this. No integrity shown from the provider. It appears that money is more important to her than having a satisfied customer.
"This client had no intention of paying me and stopped payment on the check. have never had a client stop payment on a check in my more then 18 years of service. This client did not give me her previous years return, called continually and had a stringent deadline which was met. Now she is slamming me for not letting her get away with not paying. She has taught me many valuable lessons."
