"[Member Name Removed] Our office apologizes again for the issues you have experienced, we did not realize you felt the service was never done completely. Notes in your account indicate one instance from your first service that was corrected to your satisfaction, but no other notes. If customers let our office know of issues with missed waste we are always happy to send a worker back to address concerns. Regarding the field worker entering and leaving your property, this is a difficult situation for all involved as our office followed the standard issue resolution steps multiple times without success. The employee had been reprimanded and reminded after each call you made, with no change to his behavior it appears. The end result is that the employee will no longer be working for our company. As you mention it can be difficult to find and retain decent, quality employees, and there is only so much our office can do with a defiant employee before having to select a new applicant, which is what will be done in this situation. Our office just apologizes that your account had to be the one to experience these drastic steps. -The Scooper Trooper Team"
They sent a lady and she was vary fast and did a great job.
The price was good for this one time cleaning.
"Thank you so much for the kind words! We love hearing from our customers and we look forward to a continued beneficial relationship."
"Lynda, welcome back to the service! Thank you again for all of the kind comments, it has been a pleasure having you as a customer all these years."
"[Member name removed], thank you for the flattering review, we appreciate your business very much and look forward to a continued service relationship."
"(removed member name), thank you so much for the kind words. We are glad to have had you on our weekly schedule these past years, and appreciate your business very much. If there is anything our office can do to make your service experience better, please do not hesitate to let us know."
"Respectfully, (removed member name), you previously listed a JBER address which we have never serviced, and you now list a Palmer address; We do not service in Palmer. Furthermore, our records indicate no service has ever been provided to you, or anyone under your surname. Please remove this fraudulent review, as it has no merit, due to the fact you have never utilized our services."
It's not a bad service if you have one dog; back when I only had one dog (and got charged over time for a yard that was a fourth of the size of the one I have now), everything always got cleaned up. I've only had to call once about a Trooper claiming to have cleaned the yard when they didn't, and the company fixed that up right away. And they're very prompt in crediting snow-days and such.
However, the competition in town seems to have a flat rate (same base price/dog as Scooper Troopers), no over time fees, and from what I've heard do a bang-up job.
"The competition does charge a flat rate when you sign a yearly contract, but be prepared to pay for snow-days even when they do not come out, as they will not be crediting you for those. This is actually our basis for extra-time charges, as the weeks we credit eventually need to be addressed. In all cases snow-credits over the course of Winter will outweigh any extra-time charges. (extra charges are only ever charges in Spring during thaw)"
Even when I asked the provided to NOT try to dig waste out of the snow and get it next time after the melt, they continued and then billed me extra!
I won't be using in the future, when the billing is not clearly set out ahead of time and is non-negotiable or controllable.
"Billing extra is clearly explained beforehand, as stated in the details of the coupon when purchasing, and when initially scheduling service, any extra time spent will be billed additionally. Many customers using this coupon are under the impression they can leave their dog yard uncleaned for an entire Winter, purchase a coupon which is strictly for weekly maintenance, and not pay any additional when their yard needs a full Spring clean. This is obviously incorrect, and we have specifically noted this in the details of the coupon. Regarding the issues with the initial visit, our office was contacted about the extra time spent cleaning in ice/snow, this was discounted at the customers request, so there is little logic in continuing to complain about a situation our office was told had been resolved."
Me and my neighbor used them for a few years and they always did a great job. And if the worker ever missed a pile they send them right back out to fix it. Gotta say that their customer service is excellent and the guy in the office (I think John was his name?) was always really friendly and helpful.
I very much appreciated the fact that our yard wasn't the usual 'nightmare' in the spring, since they kept up the service all winter long. And, unlike other services in town, they don't charge you for weeks in the winter when they can't come out due to fresh snow covering everything up. I didn't mind paying a little bit extra in the spring to pick up that left-over waste from the skipped weeks in the winter.
It seems that most companies in town cost about the same amount per week (plus/minus a couple of bucks). Ended up choosing this company since they don't make you sign any long-term contracts for service, but simply allow you to hold or discontinue the service whenever you need or want to.
We don't have any dogs anymore, but if we get a new one in the future I will definitely use these guys again!
"Our customers only incur overtime charges during the spring if there is extra waste from cancelled service in the winter. We generally cancel our service during the weeks in the winter when there is too much fresh snow for us to see any waste, and credit those weeks back to our customers. When the snow melts in the spring we have to spend extra time cleaning up that previously covered waste from the cancelled weeks in the winter. Regardless of the size of the yard, if extra time is spent cleaning the extra waste from the winter, extra charges do apply. In virtually all cases, savings from snow credits over the Winter outweigh over-time charges in the spring. Unlike other services in town, which charge for winter service regardless of whether they come out in a given week or not, we feel that this is the fairest and most economical system for our customers."
pleased. What I like best is they scoop all winter and so by spring
there is no extra dog poop to clean up.
This truly is a luxury service.
The price is great.
