I have been unable to reschedule because they wont answer the phone. Looking for a new groomer because of the failure to reply.

Rebecca is very professional and her skill at grooming is unsurpassed. She does truly excellent work. However, she lacks a certain gentleness and understanding of dog behavior and temperament that decided me on not returning. I witnessed her cause pain to a small dog whose ears she was removing the hair from and when the hair didn't come out, she twisted the hemostat round and round causing the dog to yelp in pain. My own dogs were quite subdued when I picked them up. So although they'll probably never get as good a grooming as they did by Rebecca, I'd sooner they look less perfect and be happy and perky.

It went very well. We arrived at the appointed time and Rebecca listened to how I wanted him groomed, asked pertinent questions and started to work immediately. I was very impressed with her warm yet firm approach to my dog and felt secure leaving him with her.

"To whom it may concern, Regarding pricing, many shops set up to work more like a dog grooming factory and budget pricing based on volume. We chose to offer a Unique grooming Environment that would focus on lower volume, lower stress, higher quality of grooming and products & service. Doing so enables us to help those dogs with special needs, among them are puppies and the elderly. That choice Sometimes results in slightly higher prices than other salons in the area. We wholeheartedly believe that we offer a premium service at a great value and do not make any apologies for our prices. We always try and make our pricing clear before doing any work so as to not have any surprises upon pick up. We would be happy to review with you the reason for any charges. PP&C was wonderful! The owner answered all of our questions, let us know which days were best for cats and we settled on a date. My cat is very happy with her new 'do'! PP&C was very professional, and puts the welfare of the animal at the top of their list. We will go back in the event we need to have her hair cut again. THANK YOU!

Took my son's family Cairn Terrior and my own Westie to be washed and groomed. We had allowed both dogs to become fully grown out to protect against cold weather. They unfortunately became extremely matted as well. I was embarrassed to show them to the Groomers at Primping Pooches. But they were very positive about their ability to bring them back to their former Beautiful Selves! And sure enough, when I went to pick them up, they looked like a Cairn and a Wesite were supposed to look!
And they were very caring about making sure there wasn't any trauma to my Westie who has a very thick coat therefore the matting was serious. They called and asked if she could be cut very short on the legs and body so that she wouldn't be hurt by pulling out the mats. I agreed and though she was very short, her face looked exactly like a Westie showdog. My son's family Cairn was cut perfectly, like the photo of a prize Cairn Terrior and both pets were calm and as normal as a Terrior can be. I am so happy to have found this excellent and immaculately clean Groomer on Angies List. Thanks Again Angie!

Will did a wonderful job of bathing, grooming and trimming Meho's nails (which he hates having done). This is definitely the place where I will take my dog in the future. In addition to doing a great grooming job, Will took the time to find out what Meho was like and any problems he's been having. Very sensitive and caring.

They are taking care of the dogs and remove ticks on its tummy. They were able to cut the hair proportional to the type of dog and to the type of cuts. It is very subjective. Absolutely, she was always available, that is her thing. I think they are very thorough. They take the time to actually get to know each individual dog or cat or whatever animals they are working with. She is actually very personable. We checked many places before and they did not take their time like she does. Like if the dog is here, she will not just hurry up and put the dog into the grooming area. She is very knowledgeable. I have had several questions about grooming on what I should do and what I should not do. She has always taken the time to stand there and talk to me about any questions I might not have about how to take care of dogs. For what you get, it is really a reasonable price.

From what was a vague set of instructions from us as to what we wanted to have done, came a beautifully well groomed dog. Then she recommended a harness that wouldn't tangle in in the dogs hair or choke her. We had noticed that they sell an organic pet food line, so we asked for recommendations for our highly allergic cat. She was quite knowledgeable and very helpful.

Primping Pooches is a specialty grooming salon that often works with the elderly and lots of PUPPIES such as yours for there first grooming. It is of great importance that the grooming process is Low Stress and Safety First, which often means that work must move more slowly and sometimes less than perfect(which we strive for)haircuts until puppies learn to be still for the grooming process(better to have a few uneven hairs than cuts from scissors).We would love the opportunity do discuss with you personally, perhaps a more suitable grooming option for your lovely puppy. My golden retriever had received a very bad grooming at another establishment a few months ago and his coat was finally coming back. Rebecca made him look like he was ready for the show ring! She also advised me that he had ear infections in both ears. We also discussed his food and potential allergies. I scheduled his next appointment that day. I am thrilled to have found a groomer who knows what she is doing and makes my best buddy look as handsome on the outside as he is on the inside!!

Do confirm your appointment time. She can be running very behind. Know that it will take longer than an average grooming. Your dog will look beautiful when finished!

There are also many other factors that come into play when working with animals...time spent assisting other clients as well as unexpected interuptions complications and delays. Depending on your breed and haircut request plan on 3hrs for sm/med dog or 4plus hours for a standard poodle."

We take our Bichon Frise to Primping Pooches every 6 weeks for her grooming. They do an excellent job!! Very friendly and very knowledgeable about grooming. Our dog comes out absolutely gorgeous every time!!!

Primping Pooches is the BEST!! My dog who is usually anxious about going places LOVES it there. They not only do a great job grooming, always checking to see if we want any styles changes, but they take such exception care with Sophie that she gets crazy excited when we pull up to the door, scrambling to get inside. hat's proof enough for me. Their "salon" is really well organized and clean and they obviously take pride in their work. they also have a pet boutique and have been helpful in suggesting an appropriate collar,fun snacks, new food choices and tips on home care. I've been using them for a year now and wouldn't consider going anywhere else! .Check them out!!

The best groomer I've had in 4 years. My dog never looked better! My dog usually pulls me so hard when I pick her up, tring to get out of there, but when I picked her up she was way calmer leaving me to believe she wasn't stressed. I Liked this place so much, I booked a return visit in 6 weeks.

Rebecca is amazing! She has been working with my 9 year old (semi-anti-social) Chihuahua for the past year and has been the best thing for her! Rebecca is passionate about her animals and those of her clients and has the necessary patience to calm skittish animals. Coco's coat, skin and temperament are greatly improved. Rebecca is even able to trim Coco's nails - something that was always a stressful and distressing process for me and for C*** in the past. She takes the time to paint Coco's nails and gives her beautiful collar bling each visit.
