I had a bandsaw for sale on craigslist. Parker Rittgers from Alaska sent me an email stating he was in texas on vacation and wanted to see the bandsaw. he arrived, inspected it and agreed to the price, then claimed he was $100 short, but would send us 20-25 lbs of salmon from his freezer in Alaska if I would barter, so I agreed and he swore the salmon would be sent w/in 2-3 days. or the money. 2 weeks went w/no contact from him and he never answered my emails. I called him on his cell and he stated it would be shipped w/in 2-3 days, again. 2 more weeks went by w/no payment. I called again and he couldn't understand why I was upset. really? I told him I had been in contact w/my atty. and due to the amount of the value of the bandsaw we would seek a lien on the machine and whatever profits he made from it if payment was not forthcoming. his response was to laugh and I quote" i'd like to see you try that". however, I started getting emails from him stating payment was on the way and he sent a pic of a fed ex box to prove it. it arrived 6/5/15, a month late and HALF OF WHAT WE AGREED UPON. I sent him an email and he asked if the box was full when I got it, implying it had been emptied half out enroute. I got online and using the fed ex tracking # determined that it was SHIPPED with HALF THE AMOUNT HE AGREED TO. he has yet to reply to my email where I sent him a pic of the stated weight of the box as it left Alaska. so he knew what he had done all along. I see on ANGIES LIST that he is listed as a computer repair. however, his business card he left w/me states he works for WOOD-MIZER, a world wide sawmill company. so...to anyone considering using his services, be aware of who you are dealing with. am I making this up? I will be more than willing to take a poly graph test to everything I have stated. I got taken by him, don't you!
