Didn't show up (no notice) until last possible date before winter shut them down.  NO notice or contact.  When the job was "finished", I complained about a portion which was hand dabbed from the roof rather then sprayed and rolled. as advertised  They also did not leave any spare paint for the trim.  Owner didn't acknowledge the problem where the paint had a different appearance than elsewhere on the house, claiming it was a problem with the wood.  When I called him later regarding the missing trim paint, he hung up.  Door jams were ignored.
Our next door neighbor had used them and was very satisfied.  That was the reason I picked them, so though their price was significantly higher.

The price was fantastic. (The bidder later complained to me that the job actually took more work than he thought. Not my problem buddy) The prep guys moved some furniture off the deck, took it apart and lost all the hardware. That was a bummer. The paint guys were great. House looked great. BUT: When the paint started bubbling and peeling in a couple spots the next summer, nobody returned my various calls about it. There is supposed to be a warranty.

They started earlier than expected, as I told them I was expecting company and hoped the job could be done by Aug 2. They were very prompt and professional, moving pots of plants and patio furniture before starting the priming. Worked late into the evenings on beautiful sunny days to complete the job, including Saturday! Very courteous and professional, a job well done!
Several of my neighbors stopped by to admire the job, and I gave them my recommendations for using North Pole Contractors!

When I requested a quote, the came promptly, gave me a quote, and then sent a brochure and video outlining their work. They came and prepped the house by power washing, then sanded and scraped the siding and trim. When the weather allowed, they came and painted in two days time, and the final bill was exactly what the quote said. All the personnel were prompt, efficient and well qualified for the work. Minor quibbles- forgot to reattach house numbers, a bit of paint on my wife's new shrubs, and ladder placement in the flower garden was not good, but probably unavoidable. Overall, very satisfied. I would not hesitate to recommend and use them again.

Preparation included pressure water blasting to clean all surfaces to be painted, removal of loose paint by sanding, re-caulking where caulk was missing or deteriorated, re-fastened loose boards, trim and siding, applied primer and two coats of latex acrylic paint to match existing color (sprayed on and back-rolled), applied matching stain to porches and boardwalk,. The job also included repainting of small detached shed.
The preparation was challenging due to the height of the house and metal roofing, but it was well done. We only had a few small complaints. One was that the trim around the front door, the front porch railing and lower facia board was to be painted in a contrasting color (to match metal roof color and that of the existing paint in those areas). Somehow the workmen did not get that instruction and had to return to do it. The trim painting was not as carefully done, as there were drips of green paint on the already stained brown porch. The second is that masking tape was not all removed, leaving a few bits of tape stuck to the metal roof. With all the sanding that had to be done on some areas where older paint had deteriorated, a lot of sanding residue was left on the roof and the porches below. We felt that those should have been washed away before actual painting began. There is still residue on the metal roof, even after some mildly windy days and some light rain. Although most of the paper and tape debris of picked up, it was not all cleaned up, and there were a couple of areas where paint blobs were stuck to grass and soil in areas where people would walk. Overall, we were well pleased and would use this provider again should we need exterior house painting in the future.

House prep was very good. Attention to protection of decks, etc. was OK but some overspray on decks. Paint application was very good. Need to monitor workers on details. Overall project was good but paint products used were of lower quality than expected. Must get all details of planned work/materials in writing. Do not rely on discussions. Warranty given by company on project is longer than manufacturers warranty on products used. May create problems if warranty issues develop but company could resolve/mitigate. Overall good experience but just need to get all details/understandings in writing up front. Pricing for work is mid range for comparable work by others.

These guys are hard workers. It took 5 days to prep and paint our 3800 sq ft house and we are pleased with the results. The 1st day (a few hours) was spent pressure washing the house. The next 2 days consisted of sanding, scraping, caulking and taping. They were fast and clean. The last 2 days of this massive project was body and trim paint. We had a slight hiccup when we did not like the trim color and picked another color. They were not displeased and showed understanding. They showed professionalism and were happy to make sure we were happy. We would work with them again. Thank you and good luck. Also, have patience working with individuals having English as their 2nd language.

They were very polite when I called for an estimate their services. They came out a couple days later and looked around the house. They gave me an estimate right there and a video to look at so I would know exactly what they were going to do, also they gave me a folder so I could go ahead and pick out my colors (that was the fun part). As soon I signed it and faxed them the contract they started painting my house. It took them around 2 weeks due to weather but everyone (crew, office and owner) was very nice and answered any questions that I had.

We had used them for a number of years. Overall we know they are familiar with what needs to be done. I think they are doing a better job now than when they started. If you can get the owner to come out and you can show them the problems or what needs to be done he can communicate. I feel there is a lack of communication with their workers.

We had used North Pole Contractors 7 years before to paint the exterior of one of our homes. We were extremely pleased with the job. So when we needed painters to paint both the interior and exterior of another home we called them. We are still pleased with the exterior of the home, but the interior is another story. We asked that the home be totally painted. We picked the wall color, the ceiling color, door color, and the trim color. We assumed that trim included the baseboard and around the doors. We also assumed that window sills are part of an interior paint job. We were wrong. They did not paint the base board, or the window sills as we did not specificially state that we wanted them painted. Who would have thought that base board is not part of the trim. And, that window sills are not painted when the interior of a home is being painted. I was totally shocked. They were totally unreasonable and felt that they were right. The owner was very rude.
