The job took exactly 12 months! With a time and material contract it appeared that the job was stretched and over documented. For example, a simple demolition of a dry wall partition was billed for more than triple the time it was estimated by other professionals. The contractor did not communicate well with the architect and his subs. The glass door took three tries to get it right, all with shipping to the lower 48 for tempering. The cost for this was eventually somewhat adjusted by Speedy Glass, but it failed to make up for the loss of 9 months rent.
The office staff was very pleasant in spite of technical glitches like being offline and emails disappearing.
Jada does not accept credit card payments, but then charges contractor's time for going to the bank and cashing a check.
Even though the end result was fair, but the cost in time and money and nerves were way out of proportion. Therefore I will not recommend this contractor.
