After an unnamed company left me hanging, I called Harold's and Danielle got me an appt in one day. Shane the repairman was on time, professional and informative. He also was conscious of his actions to prevent a possible cross contamination even with his proper use of PPE. Outstanding service and I would easily recommend them again. Sean H.

The woman who answered the phone at Harold's Appliance was friendly, helpful... and even sympathetic. She said she would do her best to find a repairman who could take a look at it. Although they were completely booked, she was able to send a repairman at the end of the day. He was also friendly, in addition to knowledgeable, helpful, and patient (my jumping puppy wouldn't leave him alone). While it didn't end well for my refrigerator, the repairman took the time to explain the problem in detail and offer different solutions. I've had more than a couple repairmen look at this same piece of junk refrigerator -- from different companies. The other repairmen were either very cranky, rude, or just plain strange.

The provider worked with me to unstack the dryer from on top of the washing machine and restack it after the repair was complete. Unfortunately, while he had brought the parts with him on a hunch, he discovered that someone had substituted a used hot water solenoid, so he had to return two days later to finish the repair. That actually worked out well as it gave the washer more time to dry out from the inside.
Shane was awesome - he was personable and informative. There was nothing technically difficult about the repair - had I known why I needed to order and replace, I have no doubt I could have done it. I still feel I got good value because I didn't know going into it, and he did know. He passed on useful information, saved me the uncertainty, and was friendly and fun to watch work.

I placed the call in mid-morning. The technician, Shane, came out to my house THAT afternoon and completed the repair. Shane called prior to arriving to my home, was prompt, friendly, showed me exactly what was wrong with the unit, and completed the repair quickly. You can't ask for more. Thank you so much, Shane and Harold's!!!!

Most of the appliance repair people would not come to my house for a microwave. Harold's Appliance did come and fixed it, and gave me a senior discount.

I called Harold's on a Monday afternoon. The receptionist was very friendly. She let me know someone could come out the next day (yay), and that she would call in the morning to give me a two hour service window.
I got a call at 9:00 am the next day, with a service window of 10:00 - noon. The technician called at 9:45 to tell me he was on his way. Awesome!
Dave (I believe was his name) was a pleasure to work with. He recognized immediately that the problem was an issue with the lid switch. I feel that a lesser company would have taken their time (and mine) going straight for the motor or something more complicated and expensive.
He replaced the part and tested the machine. His total visit was approximately 30 minutes, which was fantastic as I had to leave work for the appointment. I feel that even if it had been a more complicated issue, it would have been fixed in an efficient manner.
I couldn't be happier! Harold's will now be my go-to appliance repair service and I will happily recommend them.

The staff who answered the phone at Harold's was very polite and said they would get me an appointment the next day given that it sounded very inconvenient. She said I would get two phone calls: a call between 8:30 and 9 :00 to give me a two-hour block in which he would be here and then a call right before he headed this way.
This morning, I got the first call at 8:35 to let me know that the time range was 10-12. At about 9:50, the service technician, Dave, called to say he would be here in the next half hour. At 10:15, he arrived.
Dave was very polite and courteous. Once he determined that the themo-couple had malfunctioned, he gave me a quote, explained why this resulted in the dryer not producing heat, and gave me some suggestions on how to avoid it happening again. He then went out to his truck, got the part, and made the repair. Afterwards, he took advantage of the dryer being opened up to vacuum out the internal part around the motor, etc. He was done by 10:45.
