Ground Effects Landscaping

I was disappointed with them.  I got the quote from them back in April.  I have a mini golf course in my front yard that my husband put in a few years ago.  I thought to reseed the whole yard and just wanted to make it all grass.  I wanted topsoil in my flowerbeds because it still had ash in there.  I thought the work would include the flower and bushes and all it included was removing the golf course and laying down topsoil and hydroseeding.  I thought I really overpaid for that.  I paid over $3500 and didn't include any plants or flowers.  I asked one of the guys about the flowers and he said it was not included in that price.  It took them less than a day to complete the work.  The quality was good.  They did a good job with what they did.  I was scheduled to start the work on 4th of June and nobody showed up.  I called them, and they did send out someone the next day.  For some reason, I was not in the schedule.  I called them and told that I had signed the contract in April.  They did correct that.  They came in the very next day.  They didn't make me wait any longer.  They were here when they said they would be.

7/24/12:  I am still not happy with the work that was done.  One reason I wanted new topsoil & reseeding was to get rid of all the dandelions & other weeds taking over my yard.

The first thing to come up was the dandelions, followed by the chickweed & clover.  I don't have a golf course anymore, thankfully, but as for a pretty new lawn - I don't have it.
