Company was responsive and able to come out the same day I called. Phone staff was helpful. Crew arrived and was able to include me in the inspection to help me better understand my roof. Found the source of the leak and sealed it with calking. Minimum call out charge was $300. A bit expensive for what was done, but worth it for the quick response time from initial call.

Because of this winter's heavy snowfall we developed leaks in our roof and ice dams along the edges. This was in February. We called Earhart roofing to see if they could advise us about the leak. They suggested shoveling the roof and applying ice melt which we did and it stopped the leak. Our roof was old, so we asked for an estimate to replace the roof. We also contacted two other roofers to get estimates. Earhart responded by the next day with an estimate that ended up being less than the other two but offered a better quality roof. We scheduled the roof to be installed when the snow melted. Right before they were to come out we received a call telling us that there was an error on the estimate. The estimate stated that they would put the ice and water shield all the way up the roof. They explained that with our pitch it wasn't necessary and we only needed 6 feet of the shield. We approved the change, it made sense. They came out and installed the roof quickly and efficiently. When they were almost finishing my husband realized that something was missing that was supposed to be there, I believe it is call the "edge metal". We called their attention to it and they said our roof didn't need it, it shouldn't have been on the estimate. But it was on the estimate and it was something we wanted and did actually need. After the workers called the office to explain, they apologized and said they would make sure it was put on. The roof is done, it looks great, they cleaned up the yard completely. Workers were polite and conscientious. The price was right, we even received a senior discount! The mix-up with the estimate was, I believe, due to the bad winter causing them an abundance of estimate paperwork. It was unfortunate, but they made it good. I would suggest that if you get an estimate during a busy season, or any other time, make sure you go over it with the business to confirm that all is correct. We received our estimate by email and didn't talk it over it with them. That was our error. They are very friendly people, had to drag my husband out of the office after we went to pay for our roof.

I had been plagued with a leaking roof for eight years. One company (no longer in business) charged me an arm and leg and did nothing to fix the problem. The owner, Frank, of Earhart Roofing, sent an employ the check. He spent and hour and fixed the problem. NO Charge! The next year I had them re-roof. On time, courteous, and a super job. They stand behind their work and were a pleasure to do business with.

I went with a different company solely due to timing of availability.

If I hadn't got a call back from another roofer they would have had my business.

They were wonderful and I would recommend them without reservation.

If they were too busy and a bit confused to give an estimate, we would be hesitant to use them for 10,000-20,000 in a roof on a four plex. 2 weeks for a response on a request for an estimate makes us believe there would be a longer turn around during a disagreement or construction concern.

They were very patient with us while we were choosing the roof color. Once they began work, they worked quickly and professionally. We were very pleased with all areas of their work.

Out of 3 quotes theirs was in the middle. I chose Earhart to provide the service as they were timely, professional and just a good gut feeling. Office personnel was very responsive to all question that I asked. Stopped by the office a few times and never felt as though I was interupting or a pain. The crew who came to do the tear off were very professional and cleaned up after they were done, the crew who came to lay the new shingles did all that was promised. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of product and professionalism of the EarHart crews. I love my roof!!

I called five companies in late March to get quotes on replacing my aging roof. Earnhart was the first to respond with their estimate. I did notice that they were missing the fact that my roof was not properly vented. I had them come back to quote venting the roof and adding bird screen. After I received all the quotes I compared and found that Earnhart was not the lowest on cost, but they were the best value considering the type of shingle I wanted. Once I had decided on Earnhart we scheduled a time for them to be out. They told me it would take two days once they began to complete the job. They arrived promptly the days that we had scheduled and had the area clean after they left. I did find a few pieces of roof material when mowing my grass, but overall it was pretty clean. When tearing of the old roof, they found two pieces of rotted wood underneath the existing shingles. Their initial quote said that they would charge to replace rotted would, but I never saw an increase in cost. I inspected their work both days they were on site, and everything was done per their specifications. Rain shield was placed where they said they would install it including 6? up from the base of the house, the valleys on the roof and against the sides of the roof where water would run. They installed the flashing in any potential leak point. The only thing that was not installed was a piece of flashing underneath the bottom layer of shingles that would run onto the gutters. However, they did clean my gutters out which was not asked, but was appreciated. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of work as well as the service. I am a worrier buyer and ask a lot of questions. Every time I called Frank he spent the time to explain things properly. If he was not in, I always received a prompt reply. I am very happy with my new roof and have referred Earnhart to friends in the area.

I received a quote last year (2010). Followed up early this year to see if I needed an updated quote. James (owner) confirmed that our original quote was still valid. They were not the cheapest quote or the most expensive quote of the 4-5 we received for our job. The reason I selected them was due to the professional quote I received which actually did a better job than most at summarizing the work to be done and presenting it in a professional manner. It should be noted that I had a few roofers who didn't get back to me with quotes. I also had a few that provided quotes for work I didn't even ask for. Unlike some of the other reviews regarding these issues, I can say that they got back to me quickly with a quote and it was for the work I requested. Then when I called for an updated quote this was also returned in a timely manner. So I have no complaints in this area at all. They did not start the work on the day scheduled. I had to call them to get an update. I was informed that due to rain forecasts that they would start the following day. I appreciate the delay due to possible rain but would have liked a call early when they knew they would delay the start. The two man team showed up the following day at 9am and they showed up at or around that time each day of the project. They stopped at about 4:30 each day and cleaned up the work area reasonably well. The project took a little extra time due to some rot issues found in our flat roof. They contacted me and went through the issues. I believe this was handled in a professional and courteous way as the James the owner was out to observe the roof and provide instruction to his crew and to walk me through the repairs. Ultimatly the repairs were made and I believe they did a good job. My only complaints are as follows. -I had a couple of water squeegees that I believe they mistakenly took along with their tools when the job was complete. -Some of the workmanship was a little aesthetically sloppy. Some of the visible seams were not cut in a strait line. I don't believe this will cause any issues with the function of the roof, just with the looks. Friends have commented on it as well so it's not just my detailed eye. -Today is the fist day of rain we've had since the roof was finished. I've found that there is a bit of water puddling in some spots. Obviously I'm a little disappointed as I would have expected the proper slope to be confirmed before the roofing material went down. I've requested James the owner do a final walk through with me. At this time I'm still waiting for him to call and schedule a time with me for this. I'm hoping to go through some of these issues with him at that time so I don't have any feedback on how they handle concerns/complaints at this time.

They did an excellent job! They were prompt, courteous and extremely professional. I had found a discount after the work was completed and they honored that for me.

Not very well. We scheduled the appointment to get an estimate on my husbands day off. They never showed up or called. My husband called them and they said they were so busy they forgot. My husband rescheduled for the following Sunday. The time was approaching and we didn't hear from them again. My husband called them again and they had spaced us out, once again. They did come over, however, late. Looked at the roof and made their comments and even offered us a discount if we would wait until Spring. We never received an estimate of what they could do for us and at this point gave up on them. Obvious to us that they did not want our business. We were very disappointed because our roof has been leaking and has caused damage to one wall that we had to tear apart. The damage has gone under the carpet in the room and we had to pull that up. The room is a shambles. We do not want to wait until Spring for at least a repair to hold us over.
