Technician called and said he had determined the thermostat is bad. He did not give a price estimate but said he could replace it. I figured a thermostat is about $20 to $30 and takes about 30 minutes to replace so no big deal. When it was over I received a bill for $376!. I was charged $178 for a thermostat that I can buy for $41. When I called to object I was told the owner would call me to discuss but I've waited two weeks and no call. $376 to replace a basic non programable thermostat is ridiculous.

Sales: Joe at Diamond Heating was very easy and pleasant to deal with. He was very informative about the products and services that Diamond Heating offers. I had already done some research online so I already had an idea of what I wanted in mind. Joe helped fill in the gaps and landed me on the system I was looking for. Everything was very low pressure, and I upsold myself more than Joe did. The quote I received was very straight forward, easy to read, and had no surprises. After doing a walk through of my house it was determined that I would need a 240V connecting installed in my utility closet. Joe recommend an electrician who did the job for $250.00 and it turned out great. Installation: Two Diamond Heating technicians arrived at my home at 8:55am "5 min ahead of schedule". They immediately got to work installing my new hot water heater and furnace. everything was kept clean and tidy during the install. Lunch was taken at 12:00pm sharp and they were both back on the job by 12:30pm. The job was completed by 4:00pm that afternoon and everything looked great! One of the technicians gave me a crash course on how everything worked, and that was a wrap. They left the worksite cleaner than they had found it and everything looked perfect. Conclusion: Joe came by the next day just to make sure that everything was working properly and to see if I had any questions. We went over everything once more just to make sure I did not have any questions and that I was comfortable with operating the system. I would highly recommend Diamond Heating to any of my fiends or family.

We did a full-blown patch-up on this house that we bought. They came in, replaced the furnace, added in a garage furnace, did all the duct work and everything. They were very professional.

Salesman pitched it great and got the installation setup. Removed the old system andput in new ductwork for the new system. Once done the salesman said he would return to see that everything was done correctly and show us how to use the thermostat. Never could reach him again, several calls and leaving messages...nothing. I never got a final copy of the receipt, just the quote. The installation was fine except that they left it a mess with metal pieces and screws left around. Got the next 2 years service done and then they wanted to bill me. I explained that I had 3 years included and they explained I hadn't purchased that option...I argued that I had and it was on the quote, but I never got a copy of the receipt because the salesman never returned my calls. They mailed me a copy and it didn't match the quote. They said I was lucky I got 2 free service calls. The service company is actually AirTemp, and they just are contracted to do the work for Diamond Heating, they did a decent job, but I'll not give any service to Diamond Heating after all the hassle.
