Great. We contracted with Solomon Crownover for this job late in the season (September), but he assured us that he would be able to do the work because he installs roofs year-round. There was about a 2-week delay from the approximate date he originally told us he would do the job due to non-stop rain, (He did tell us ahead of time that they don't do the work during heavy rain.) but once his crew began, the work went very fast. They got the old shingles off and the ice shield on in 2 days. It was rather mind-blowing to see the roofers working in the dark with headlamps on. Then came freezing rain and 6 inches of snow that slowed the work down. Solomon had to tell his guys to quit when it got too slippery for them to be on the roof. But a day or two later they came back and finished the job as promised.
