Staff gave progess reports when I called, addressed my concerns, and even sent pictures

Our Golden Retriever was simply not acting right and it looked as if he had blood in his urine. He didn't eat all weekend long, had a foul odor about him, and was lethargic. We are new to Anchorage and this was our visit to any veterinarian in the area. I called Chester Valley and they gave us an appointment first thing that morning. We were greeted by a wonderful receptionist - we LOVE the housecat - and the facility was extremely clean. The doctor was FABULOUS. She turned a stressful situation for our family into a calmer one. After introducing herself she got on the floor to talk to our dog and to pet him. I have never, EVER had a vet get down and dirty on the floor, all covered in fur from my pet as if it wasn't a big deal, and simply let our dog know that she cared. I knew at that moment this was the best choice for our family veterinarian. From the front desk, to the vet tech, to the doctor.....from testing and cleaning and shaving.....and price ---- simply the BEST choice!!!! We will certainly be using Chester Valley for our pets care the three years we will be here.

Dr Shannon Kesting is awesome!! She took the time to see my dog, who was struggling with chronic ear infections and other complications. The last time I had to take her in, she even gave Katy a kiss on the head!! Dr Shannon has just taken over the practice and we've seen her three times. She's been consistently concerned about Katy and has ultimately prescribed the proper things that have "fixed" her issues. I highly recommend Dr Shannon Kesting.
