After a bit of a rocky start, Tom, the owner of Big O's called me personally to listen to my concerns and offered positive feedback, honest repair information and suggestions of alternatives that could help. I truly felt like my concerns were addressed in a positive and professional manner and expectations were realistic.
I definitely recommend this company and felt like I was treated professionally and respectfully.

very positive on the first call. the lady who answered said they were pretty full but maybe service could get me in and transferred me. Service guy was also very upbeat and friendly. Said I could bring it in on Monday and they would get it in to look at. They had a little problem with the part order which took an extra day bit they did keep in contact with me. In the end it was all fixed up and works well. Thanks!
( we had a bad experience at the local Ford dealer the previous week. They gave us an appointment for a couple of days later in the week when we called. We took the car in and dropped it off. The guy who checked us in said he would look at it bit it was going to be a $95 charge just to look at it with their machine. When we called that evening to see if it was done they said that all of the service techs had a meeting that day and hadn't had a chance to look at it... they needed to keep it another day just to look at it. the following day at 4:00 pm they had still not looked at it so we picked the car up and went shopping for a new service provider)

Very honest, good group of people.

Installed rear axel, new rotors, calipers, brakes, emergency brake shoes and front axel shaft,

Dropped my truck off before work and explained the symptoms. They said they'd probably get to it that day but couldn't guarantee that -- fine by me, I understand troubleshooting.
Got a call by lunchtime that they had fixed the truck by replacing two coil packs (dealer had replaced one). Skeptical that it was fixed that soon and it was that simple of a fix, I was pleasantly surprised that the truck ran PERFECTLY. Glad I decided to spend some money to get the truck actually fixed than deal with the idiots at Lithia.
There have been reports of the guys there being short, to-the-point, or condescending. IMO, these guys knew their stuff, didn't waste time with conversation fluff, and asked directed questions directly related to actually trying to figure out what the problem was. I will continue to use this shop in the future.
Prices are a little higher than the cheap-o shops, but you are getting billed actual quality labor hours. The higher prices pay off in this instance.

The best auto shop in town, also the cleanest you will ever see. They are very professional here and have always done a good job for me. I have had many , many repairs and tire changes done here over the years.

I made an appointment to have my car seen on Thursday, 22 August. On Monday, 26 August they reported still not looking at my car. We were told that a backlog of vehicles kept them from getting it in. Why bother making the appointment then; the assumption that I could go without a car for an extra few days is presumptuous at best. My real concern, though, is that they didn't fix the problem in its entirety. The radio still doesn't work. It's bound to be a simple fuse fix or something but negotiating a time to get the job fixed is bothersome. It wastes another day or more of my time while they try to squeeze it in. To their credit, and the rating reflects this, they have been responsive to my request that we reschedule and have the issue addressed post haste. They are genuinely concerned with the level of service they provide. My case is likely an anomoly and I can say with certainty that I'll be returning to Big O's. My car was finally finished on Wednesday, 28 August; I picked it up the next day because they didn't finish until late in the day. Better late than never.

The specified work was completed as discussed and the price was reasonable.The repair was delayed for half a day but was not an inconvenience for us. We got a lot done for $1000.

I've used Big O for almost 20 years. When I worked in human services, I used to send clients to Big O. They are honest--will tell you if the work is essential for safety, if it can wait, or if it's not worth putting money into the car--and they do good work. Most recently, I dropped the car off when I was going out of town to have a check engine warning cleared, and I picked the car when I came back.
