About us
Big Dipper Cleaning is a locally owned and operated house cleaning service company in the Anchorage area. We are a small business, and like to keep it that way so that our customers can build a close relationship with the people who come into their homes. We strive to be the very best and offer our clients the most affordable and effective house cleaning service possible. We charge by the hour and not by the job, but always provide a quote in a dollar amount. We do this, so that as we become more and more familiar with a clients home, the cost that they pay for subsequent cleanings becomes less, as it does not take as long to complete a house that we know better. Each home has its own unique properties, and we are always looking for ways to improve our service and speed up the cleaning, so that we can pass the savings on to you. We never sacrifice quality for speed however, and treat each and every home as if it were our own. Big Dipper Cleaning has many happy customers, because of our strong work ethic, and a knack for innovation and effectiveness when it comes to house cleaning. Give us a call or text, or visit our website today to use our free estimate request tool or to schedule a cleaning with our online booking tool. We look forward to hearing from you, and please feel free to leave a review of the service we provide you. We absolutely LOVE hearing feedback from our customers, especially when you find an area you feel that we could improve on! Talk to you soon!!

We first contacted this company about a month ago, using a Groupon. We scheduled them to come at 5:30pm, but we didn't hear anything until after 7:00pm. We saw Spencer Quirk outside, not realizing that it was him, and when we did, he was smoking with his son near him. First, I'm not sure who brings their kid around to a cleaning job, and secondly, I think it is extremely tacky to smoke outside of your client's apartment building.
He finally called us, saying that he didn't know where his cleaning lady was, but if we really wanted, he could get someone over and he and they could clean. We were not amused, or happy. We told him that we would call him to come back. This, however, turned out to be a mistake.
Once again, we scheduled for them to be at our apartment to clean at 5:30pm, and once again, nothing until after 7:00pm. Finally, they (Chanel Kozler and Spencer Quirk) showed up.. both in baggy jeans and sweatshirts. They did a sub-par job, and we just wanted them out of our house, so we said, "good job," paid them, and had them leave.
The next day, we found that my girlfriend's expensive make up and make up brushes gone. We let Spencer know that we believed Chanel had stolen the items (she was cleaning the bathroom without supervision) and what we got was a demand for an apology, angry text messages, and ridiculous accusations that our daughters had done something or that they had fallen somewhere. Let's be clear about this... the girls never go near the make up, and the make up is secured in a bag, inside a cabinet; they don't just go off somewhere like Spencer had suggested.
So, we did a little research... Chanel Kozler has a felony theft charge which included making or using fake documents, stealing between $500-$24,999 worth of stuff, and use of an access device (usually a credit card or checks when they word it this way). Spencer Quirk has only been convicted of a small misdemeanor which he provided alcohol to a minor... oh, except that he is also being charged with Hindering Prosecution in the 1st Degree, which is a felony. This means he tried to keep someone from getting arrested. This leads us to Nakeen Peterson... Five minor in consumption of Alcohol, two DUIs (one with a driving with license suspended, one with reckless endangerment), One assaulting of a police officer, one resisting arrest, one domestic violence assault, one regular assault, and one assault with a deadly weapon with intent to cause grievous bodily injury.... a C Felony. She is currently in jail awaiting trial for revocation of her probation for this charge. She has had her probation revoked multiple other times for almost all of her other cases as well.
These people are unprofessional, thieves, liars, and criminals. Do NOT trust them in your house.
