It went well! It was 60 bucks ALL TOGETHER and it didnt take long at all

This experience started out well. I called and scheduled an appointment and spoke with a really nice lady who got me in at a time that would work for me. I explained that I had found her company on Angieslist. I dropped the vehicle off and the tune up was done. They called and left a message that it was done and ready to be picked up.
By this time, I was comfortable dropping my wife off to pay for and pick up the vehicle. After fifteen minutes she gets home and tells me about this crabby guy that complained that she used a credit card and then complained that she used the Angieslist coupon. He said that coupon was supposed to be for work totaling over $500.(no specification on the coupon) I can sympathize with the guy that it is difficult to make money paying credit card companies and offering coupons, but I assume these were both things he did voluntarily. Truthfully, if the work was done right, I don't mind paying cash and not using a coupon, but offering both and then complaining about it really bothered me. I have tried to convince myself to go back, but I choose not to deal with people like this. Not to mention, that is the last time my wife will ever go in and pick a vehicle up anywhere after it is serviced. So, while I can speak no ill of the guys ability to work on vehicles, the customer service was very lacking.

I got it back with the same gas leak in the same tank. they say they patched it but there is no patch visible, especially over the hole that gushes fuel. they told me a replacement tank was not available for my toyota, I found one online on my phone in minutes. charged me $200 for labor and $90 for parts.
when I called and asked them to spray some vehicle undercoat on the car's bottom above the gas tank(assuming they would take it out to fix it) they told me they dont do that, and wouldn't.when I dropped the car off there was nobody there to help me but the mechanic who made me sit at his desk to fill out the work order and then told me to move my car off the property against a fence.
never going back.

He is very good at basic fixes but apparently steers away from major fixes.

Small scheduling error, but they were able to get a mobile glass guy to change my windshield instead of having to bring it to a different shop. I would recommend and return anytime. Also got an auto start from 2 to None just next door, great price. Will check to see if he's on Angie's List.

They were great. I don't remember how much they charged me, but I know that they saved me quite a bit of money compared to the place that I had gone to before. They were very reasonable, and they offered to let me watch the repairs. I didn't want to sit there for several hours and watch, but I think the fact that they were willing to let me see what they did was great, and they explained things very well.

Got me in quick as scheduled, did work, ran into a problem with a bolt that would not come off, took longer than expected, but no extra charge. They were professional, tried every option, and found an alternate way to do the job, still at the original quoted price.

I liked the fact that he was old school as it wasn't all about computers.

I didn't like my experience with him at all. He was just very unpleasant person to work with and he can be a little bit crabby. He didn't take care of the problem very well and I didn't get the result that I was looking for on the fix and he also had messed up with my car shock absorbers. I had an unpleasant experience. I would not use him in the future.

The mechanics showed me every step of their inspection process. They suggested other companies for best prices. For parts and service.

My experience was good. It was expensive for what I needed to have done but they were able to come to me, which I really appreciated.

My truck died on a Saturday afternoon. A friend referred me to A Mobile Mechanic. April answered my call and was extremely helpful over the phone, referred a tow company, and within an hour or so my truck was at their shop. They were able to diagnose the problem (dead alternator) get the part, and repair it within a few hours. The guys at the shop were very polite and helpful. They answered all of my questions without making me feel stupid (I am a woman who doesn't know much about cars). This company also has a service where they will come to you .
Best auto shop experience ever. I will be bringing my vehicle to A Mobile Mechanic from now on.

Scheduled an appt with this company based on Angie's List recommendations. They were able to get me in on the day I needed, I was in town for just a two day period. They gave me a ride home and then delivered the car to the house when it was done.

We had a check engine light on in our VW Jetta. We needed to get this resolved quickly before I had to get the I/M test done. Because I checked Angie's List, I found that they had gotten some pretty top marks. I called them and was greeted by the owner's wife. She was friendly and seemed down to earth. I think I picked up on a pretty positive vibe by that. I pulled in the morning I said I would. The owner Geoffrey told me upfront, how much it was going to cost and what he was going to do. Obviously, there's no way to get around the cost...and that's not their fault. I rated the Price as C because it hurt so much to pay that amount! The main culprit it seems was something called a starter coil pack--or something of that nature--and a few sensors that were giving off some codes that needed to be cleared. It also needed a tune-up. The next day, I picked up the car from my wife's work and found that the check engine light was back on again. My wife called them and they picked it up from her work. It took all day again. We took it home again and the next morning, the check engine light came back on. Again, my wife called them and they picked it up from her work. He said because they didn't get it the first time, they weren't going to charge us for the labor, just the parts. This time it seems it was a thermostat issue. I found them to be gruff, but very honest. I got the impression that the owner doesn't like to put up with a lot of BS. I can appreciate that. That said, he wasn't so gruff as to make us feel small or like idiots that don't take care of our car well enough (which, in fact, we kind of are). I appreciate all the work they did for us and the time they took to getting things right, despite the multiple trips there. If I have anymore problems with this car (and by the grace of God, it's lasted us this long without TOO many problems), I think I will consider taking it to them again. The car works great. It performs so much better than it did before. Not as sluggish like it was. I would recommend A-Mobile to anyone who asks.

We thought the car was beyond repair and were very happy when they reported that they could fix it! They had all the work done within 24 hours. It has been running great!

These too guys are very honest and best of all experianced. Geoff is a no nonsense, tell it like it is kinda guy.

He ordered the new distributor and installed it. The car has been running great ever since. These mechanics are certified, knowledgeable, experienced and will bend over backwards to make sure the customer is satisfied. They even paid for the towing! This is a locally owned, family business and is worthy of your support.

Geoffery and his son showed they knew what they were doing in trying to get our truck started by first determining that the battery was dead and they were determined to get the truck started... In their attempt to get the truck to start they fried the starter and then they determined that the truck was flooded and Geoffery said that the truck needed to be in a warm shop so that the gas vapers would disapate and so that he could also replace the starter that he fried at his cost so we called for a tow truck.. A few hours later Geoffery called and said they got the truck to start and that he had replaced the starter so they drove the truck back to our house.. We felt the bill was reasonable as our insurance paid for the tow bill and part of Geoffery's bill and the service we got was better than we got at the dealership in October... I would tell anyone to use A Mobile Mechanic as he is honest and fair....
