After being overwhelmed by an onslaught of home issues and feeling taken advantage of by HVAC and plumbing contractors, we were ready to throw in the towel. Fortunately, we found Ira and Sunlight Contractors. Ira and his extremely knowledgeable and professional staff have restored our faith. They came up with a comprehensive solution to finally address our many inter-connected issues once and for all. Not to sound cliche, but there is ‘Sunlight’ at the end of the tunnel. We can not recommend Ira and crew highly enough

Charlie was extremely professional and kept me in the loop on the whole project. Very responsive and completed the project from start to finish with exceptional service. Charlie helped me with the insurance company to obtain the value needed for the project fue to the pipe burst. I had a chip in the flooring when the work was done and Charlie had his crew come back and fix the whole thing and kept to the original quote. Extremely fair and reasonable pricing. Would recommend anyone with any home project to Charlie and his crew. Fantastic drywall, paint, floor laying, and general repairs. 5/5 stars and i will be using Premier Southern Builders for any project in the future

SUMMARY: SES did high quality work. They stuck to the projected cost. They finished within the estimated timeframe (or at least close enough). PRELIMINARY STAGES: SES promptly returned our initial call and set up a visit by their estimator. Within a very reasonable timeframe (maybe a little more than a week), we had the estimate in hand. In contrast, we were shocked to see how difficult it was to deal with some other contractors--even in the early stage, when we were trying to give them business. DETAILS OF THE JOB: They gutted ~50% of a ~180 sq ft bathroom to the studs; did some framing/re-framing; removed a large tub and patched in some hardwood; completely re-did the mortar bed/tile/plumbing for the shower; re-routed an HVAC intake to a different part of the house; moved/added some plumbing and electrical; installed a new commode and tile floor in a new toilet closet; hung crown molding; installed a double vanity with a stone top; hung a large mirror and frameless shower door; built out 2 closets. QUALITY. Their renovation was high quality and fit perfectly into our 1930’s arts-and-crafts home. They found, sanded, and painted an old 5 panel door to match the doors in rest of the house. The salvaged/refinished pine floor fits into the existing pine floor seamlessly, and the new trim work matches that in the rest of the house. Their tile guy did an outstanding job on the shower—floor to ceiling with a bullnose and a niche. The subs they used for the vanity/stone top and for the mirror/shower door did a high quality job. We designed our closets and the trim carpenter built them out perfectly (soft-close drawers and all). COMMUNICATION. This was a big asset to the SES experience. Ashley kept us posted with an email almost every day. We knew what to expect when we got home from work, as well as what to look for the next day and the rest of the week. In the rare event that there were surprises or delays, Ashley would let us know right away as well as what the resolution would be. While Ashley was the main line of communication, the owner, Shawn, was very accessible as well when necessary. PROFESSIONALISM. All the people we interacted with were professional and punctual. The workers were respectful of us and our home, and they did a great job cleaning up every day. With very few exceptions, people were at the house every weekday (and even some weekend days), from the start to the finish of the project. THE UNEXPECTED. As the work proceeded, some minor structural damage from the old shower had to be addressed and the hot water heater needed some repairs. These were taken care off in a time- and cost-efficient manner. Otherwise, there were a few miscommunications regarding the electrical rough ins, a plumbing valve, the closet build outs, and the shower door. All these were very minor and easily addressed. Along the way—and especially as things neared the end—Shawn made sure we had everything exactly the way we wanted it. This was our first time hiring a contractor. Before our renovation, we had heard many contractor-related horror stories. Our experience with SES was drastically different. We are already scheduling another project with them

All work has been done well and professionally. Owner Sean always offers to do a walk-through after the work is done, but we stopped doing that after the first couple of times we used them. Things are always done so well and cleaned up afterwards. Couldn't ask for more!

After their botched repair of siding at my house in 2018 after termite damage, I panicked and made the mistake of hiring them again to do flood damage repair after the 2019 July flood. While they did good demo work, and the crew they hired to put up new dry wall and paint was good, I was made many promises that weren't kept: they would replace all the faceplates, do the plumbing for a new sink, fix the base of our side door (which wouldn't latch), replace a moldy furnace room door, build a stand for our washer/drier. Not one of these things was ever done. They also disappeared completely for two months, leaving work on a side bathroom unfinished and exposed to water damage from the outside. They then had to replace much of the siding again, because termites had returned to the water damage area. I then paid for work for which I never received a receipt detailing work, nor did they complete the tasks they'd initially promised. I wrote to them directly last year documenting all these issues (and many more) to try and politely resolve them (which I had to hire other workers to fix, incurring significant extra expense), and they never replied. I strongly urge you not to use them, as they overcharge, don't complete tasks, and will go radio silent when you need them

Everything went great! I just purchased a new condo and I wanted to make sure that everything was dry. Stonebridge Restoration did and inspection and found the home to be dry and free of mold. They were fast and attentive. I would use them again.

It went great. Grant was professional, courteous, kind and punctual. He kept me informed of what they were doing. He came out as soon as I called him. I would definitely have him come out to my house in the future and would recommend him to others.

Jacob was a total pro, start to finish. He was timely, courteous, well-informed and THOROUGH. I was delighted with the final result and very grateful to Jacob for the time he spent getting it just right. I also have been extremely pleased with the customer service I've received from Stephanie, Barry and Kelly from the office. Always pleasant, available and genuinely eager to help. By far the best experience I've had with a home repair company in New Orleans, hands down

It was an extremely timely response, and their prices were reasonable. They came out very quickly and appeared to have thorough knowledge of what they were doing. They were extremely competent in their delivery of the repair services. They identified the problem and immediately set about fixing it. I was so very impressed with the quality of this service, with the manner in which they dealt with me, and their commitment to doing a quality job at a fair price. It was exceptional

In a word - Spectacularly‼️👌👍❤️ The company owner, Phillip Osoria and his entire crew are all pros at what they do. They also really seem to enjoy working with each other as they talk, joke and laugh with each other all the while keeping the efficiency and quality of their work superb. During the preparation phase they moved and covered all necessary furniture, equipment and other items. At the end of each day they always cleaned up and removed their equipment. At the end of the job all items that had been moved/covered were returned to their original places. We have a 2,700 sq ft single story home in Covington and had the home built 24 years ago by a very well respected builder. The original painting looked good but we must say that the job Northshore just completed looks much better, something we weren’t expecting. The rooms painted were foyer, great room, hallway, dining room, kitchen/breakfast area and the master bedroom & bath. There was a fair amount of drywall repair needed mainly to cover holes where no longer needed items had been mounted to the wall. Three or four places were as large as a double or triple light switch plate and now you would never know that anything had been there - really amazing! And, as with any 24 year old home there were the normal ceiling and crown molding hairline cracks, but not anymore. Finally, we got quotes from 2 other highly rated (but not as high as Northshore) Angie’s List contractors and Northshore’s quote was $1,000 to $2,000 lower. Northshore’s quote was also within $25 of what the insurance adjuster’s written estimate showed. Go with Phillip and Northshore. You won’t be disappointed👍
