As Angi's in-house expert on home improvement and the trades, Andy Simms has spent almost a decade bringing together insights from hundreds of tradespeople as well as his own experience on the tools, to help the teams within Angi's meet the real needs of homeowners and pros.

Before joining Angi's, Andy worked his way up from apprentice to business owner and main contractor, spending over a decade on the front line of the construction industry. With first-hand experience in everything from landscaping to full-scale extensions, and as a homeowner himself, Andy is uniquely placed to bridge the gap between homeowners and tradespeople.
