This was the worst experience in my life. We had to front him $16,000.00 to get started. He stated that being such a small company he could not wait until the first draw from the bank, and that without up front money he would have to take another job. This was all in December 2015. We stripped the house to studs and we gave him everything out of it that could be salvaged and used. Doors, AC units, cabinets, refrigerator, etc. etc. He said he could use some of it, and knew people that could use the other stuff. We graciously let him have it since it could be put to use. Fast forward to around April/May. We have tried to get deadlines of when certain things would be done and would get false promises and deadlines. He has claimed anything from electric hitting his truck, to having MRSA, to having to collection $$ from a recent job to finish ours, etc. etc. We still have no A/C or heat. Our fireplace isn't finished. The water lines to our refrigerator have not been ran. (We had to even go get our own appliances for him, FYI!) We did not get the shower we requested. Our flooring downstairs is still not installed. The windows downstairs are still not installed. (They bent the screens for the upstairs windows so bad putting them in WRONG that we have trouble removing them, and we are not sure they will go back in now. We had to go out and buy window AC units for now.)(remember how we gave him our old AC units?!) He did not put "back gutters" in his bid even though it was discussed numerous times. (our fault for overlooking it) However now our foundation has slipped (due to multiple torrential downpours over the course of the job, and the gutters not being fixed. This caused the water to rush under our concrete pad at the back of our house). Now we have to face a $17,000.00 bid from a Foundation Restoration Specialist. His deadline to be completed by was May 20, 2016. Today is August 16, 2016 and he is still not done. He has had all the disbursements from the bank for the loan. There is no reason that he could not give us our money back and finish our job. He has ignored our phone calls, texts and emails. So far, we have filed with the Attorney General's office, the BBB, and the WV Labor Board. I have a feeling that this will be going to court.

The owner, Todd Graves, gave my Aunt a total estimate of $40,000 for a 2 room addition (17 ft x 17 ft each room) and requested $7,000 up front and told us the job would be completed by October. He even gave us a timeline. We gave him the $7,000 up front on August 7th; he then laid the foundation and footers. We didn't hear from him until October. Then he said in order to finish he would need $20,000.00 (we gave that to him on October 10th) He didn't return until December 5th!! He was there for about 10 minutes to lay some tarps over the area. We called him repeatedly and wrote letters. On December 19th, my Aunt went to his house and his wife ran her off the property and threatened to call the police. Please do not use this contractor. I have a feeling that this will end in litigation.
