ASHLEY FURNITURE HOMESTORE

I went to the Day before Black Friday at 7:00 am selling and purchased this furniture. It was delivered on time, but the furniture arrival is the only thing that was correct. The delivery boys had my son-in-law sign for the furniture out side. Telling him that he was only signing that the furniture had been delivered. I instantly noticed that the Couch and Love Seat had scratches and broken pieces of wood on the trim of the leather couch. The leather sectional had several tears in the corners. I called the delivery department and told them of the condition of the furniture and how unhappy I was that the delivery boys left without speaking to me. I was first told it would be after Christmas before someone could come and look at the badly damaged furniture. After an up setting discussion a service person came that week. He ordered some wood parts to put on the couch and love seat and painted where the wood had not been finished. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! These pieces were over a $1000.00 a piece.( on sale) For the cut and tears on the sectional, they ordered new covers. I have not heard back from them and it is almost 2 months. I saw another spot of the love seat and rubbed it and realized this piece of furniture had not been finished at the factory and should have never been delivered. I have called and left a message for a manager to return my call and how upset I was with the service. I also sent email asking who I could I talk to this furniture was unacceptable and have yet to hear from them.... Poor job Ashley Furniture of Charleston,WV BEWARE shopping there! The sad thing is we own a second home at Lake Norman and bought 4 rooms and furniture from them and loved it. Some of the furniture did not arrive on time, but we were contacted . Given extra discount and by the end we were given an arrangement from the store. I would buy there again, any time. Charleston, your management needs to take some leasons.It is the difference between return costumers and angry costumers.
