Hoppe Tree Service

He came out and was very nice and explaining what he was going to do. He said that he was going to come out but I am still waiting. I called him about a month and a half later to let him know that I didn't want his service. I never received any call after he came for the estimate.

When I called for the free estimate, they made every attempt to work around my busy schedule. They arrived right on time and were very courteous. Their prices actually quite surprised me. I was expecting much higher. We scheduled the removal about 1 week in advance. They came and removed the tree including the stump and back filled the hole all while I was at work. I came home and it looked as if there never was a tree in my front yard. An invoice was mailed to us within the week, and prices reflected the quote exactly. Highly recommended!.

Company arrived on the agreed upon day, did all the work and cleaned up very little debris remaining, much less than I expected. August Hoppe was helpful in offering different options from removing the trees to trying to reduce the growth and ''aggressively'' trimming the trees. The crew did all the work in a matter of 6 hours. The only complaints that I have (and they are very minor)there was a delay between the initial agreement on the job and when we were contacted about being placed on the calendar and the crew did not remove a few surface roots that were left from one of the trees. Neither issue was of much concern and wouldn't even be mentioned if the rest of the experience was not as good.

The trees were trimmed and shaped. The crew finished their work quickly and did a good job of clean up.

The man who came out was very pleasant and helpful. He answered all my questions and was on time. He was able to come out within a couple of days after my initial call. I am very pleased and have already set up another appointment.

August was prompt, courteous, and informative. He completed the estimate immediately with a list of separate items/cost so we could decide how much or little we wanted to do. We had high expectations based on Angie's List comments. They EXCEEDED our expectations. The team was professional, meticulous, hard-working, polite, and thorough. Overall we were very impressed with this service.

A little difficult to get a hold of. They returned calls promptly and provided mobile phone. They are very professional and punctual when appointments were set.

I received a call back the same day I called to request service, and I was told that within the week our tree stump would be removed. It was removed and Hoppe did a very nice job of mulching over the area.

Scheduling was prompt, office was polite.

Before contacting the company, I spoke with neighbors to determine if they needed work done as well in the hopes that we could get a lower price. I called the company and told them my idea and he said that he could give us a neighborhood rate. He came to do an estimate and walked around the block speaking with the neighbors and giving them written estimates. The price was excellent compared to another estimate I received. A number of my neighbors hired the company and they came and completed most of the work in one day. They did a good job of cleaning up the debris, but forgot to move my lawn furniture back. They cut off many branches, but the trees are still shaped well.

I was not home when the work was performed so the workers left a note, which I appreciated. August Hoppe was very professional when he came to give us the estimate. The spraying is the first part of the work. His crew will be returning to prune my trees.

They were very punctual, polite, and thorough.

They were very polite. They did a good job and did it quicker than I expected. It was hard to find someone to use a pick axe to remove the roots, because I don't have access for a root grinder into the backyard. They were willing to do so and did a good job.

When coming home from work at 7 pm on 9-13-2005, we saw that our huge maple tree in the backyard had fallen onto our house. It was quite chaotic; the power was out, and we decided to immediately call Hoppe Tree Service (which we had hired for tree pruning) to evaluate the damage. Our fear was that the roof would may give away during the night, and that the second half of the tree would break and fall onto our neighbor's house. We left a message for August Hoppe, knowing that he was very reliable and would call us back whenever he was available (there was a lot of tree damage that night). To our surprise, around 9 pm, August Hoppe knocked on our door and took a look at the situation. He said that he couldn't do anything at night, but that he would be there first thing in the morning. Indeed, he arrived at 7 am. At 10 am, the tree was off the roof and only the stomp was left. This was an example of great customer service; we couldn't be happier with our favorite tree service!

As usual, Hoppe comes through again with excellent, dependable & reliable work. I suppose that's why I came back to them after using their tree services back in 1996/97 or so. His father back then was out still doing the hard work along with Michael (another son). Sadly, the father is gone. A definite recommendation with the traditional super service & prices to back it up. Very pleased.

Everyone I spoke with was extremely helpful. I set up the appointment, Dean Hoppe let me know that he would come out. He left an estimate in my mailbox. I called him to schedule the removal. I got a call from another Hoppe, perhaps his son, saying they would be out the next day. When I came home from work, the stumps were gone. It was very convenient for me. I didn't have to take any time off of work and the job was done well.

Excellent service thorough from estimate to completion. Prompt, cleaned up nicely, removed all wood as requested.

I had no specific time to do the work, I told them whenever. They showed up in the A.M. and removed the trees and the stumps. Both of the trees were set on a hill and problematic to remove. Friendly and quick service.

They were very prompt and willing to do the work, but we just decided to go with someone else with a better bid.

TREE REMOVAL CREW ARRIVED ON TIME ON SCHEDULED DATE. THEY WERE CAREFUL TO AVOID DAMAGE TO FENCES, BUILDING, RETAINING WALL AND LAWN. DID A THOROUGH JOB OF CLEANUP AT END OF PROJECT.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB. TREES AND BRANCHES WERE ALL REMOVED; NO MESS WAS LEFT. THE ESTIMATE FROM HOPPE WAS DETAILED, AND THEY ARRIVED BEFORE ANY OF THE OTHERS WE REQUESTED. NICE GUYS!

They did a wonderful job. August came out the same week I initially called them to do a quote. They performed the job the very next week. The quote was clear and very reasonable. I was not present when the work was done, but they did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and completed the job exactly as promised.

August and his crew came on time in the AM, as requested. They were polite, efficient, and cleaned up the three sites as promised. They even took the ground-up wood chips, and spread them as mulch around some nearby plantings. I am more than pleased with the job they did!

August Hoppe was the estimator of the service (co-owner) who arrived on time for the estimate and was clean, extremely polite, intelligent and was well spoken. They followed up appropriately and called with timing of when the company would arrive to complete the job, and they came exactly on schedule. They cleaned up after themselves, sweeping the debris away and removing twigs that had fallen. They protected the flower garden below where they worked. Excellent job and well done.
