Hoppe Tree Service

Hoppe was on time and their communication was great. They called and let me know when they'd be there and they were there on time. They did an awesome job and I'd definitely use them again.

Everything went very well, from the consult to the actual job. It was done over several different visits, and it was a busy time of year, so things were a bit slow to get done, but that's to be expected. But they did a great job. Mr. Hoppe is very knowledgable. He could've easily suggested we remove all the trees I inquired about for a greater cost, but he made sensible suggestions that gave us a great solution to our issues.

We needed a tree cut down and the stump removed. The people who did the work were professional, checked in with me before they began and before they left, and did a great job. (We also had several trees fertilized, done when we were not home.) The problem I have is that their office staff is now calling us to do more work. They went ahead and evaluated our other trees and suggested more services via email. That is acceptable but the phone calls are borderline intrusive, especially when I did not agree to the work. While I care about our trees, I don't want to be called twice weekly about them. This is actually giving me pause about hiring them again.

The crew was punctual, worked quickly, and completed the job and cleaned up our yard in approx. 2.5 hours. Although I had to wait about 6 weeks to get the job completed, I wasn’t in a huge rush. The head person on the crew walked the site with me before starting, explained what they planned to do and asked if I had any concerns and/or questions. I would recommend Hoppe to anyone and I will use them again. Although they were not the cheapest quote I received, they were a great value for the price. I received 5 quotes ranging from $560-1,300. Hoppe was $739.

I called Hoppe Tree Service & they will be delivery the wood this Friday AM!! Now that is service! I will be dealing with this company come spring time for my yard work as well, yes they are reasonable but the customer service of their receptionist was amazing!

Order was processed quickly and delivery was made days earlier than originally thought possible. The person making the delivery was careful to place the wood where it would be best for me and even swept the driveway where some debris was scattered. Great company, nice people. Definitely recommend.

The process to get a quote was so frustrating that I didn't have them do the work. I have them trim my trees every year and have been very satisfied with the quality and experience, and I don't know why this summer the reverse was true. I requested 3 quotes (3 different times, as the scope of the work evolved), and each time I had to call several times before someone came to do the quote (3 quotes took 7 request calls). They send their quotes out via email with a linked document and I had technical difficulties (the attachment didn't come through). I repeatedly requested that they put the info into the body of the email, but they would just send the system generated email again (it felt like they weren't communicating in the office well). While the second quote was in process, I received an email confirming a date for the first quote's work, but I had never talked to anyone about scheduling the work. i called to clarify that I wanted to have all the work done at the same time so I couldn't reschedule until the quotes were done. Two weeks later, I was still waiting on quote 2, had just requested quote 3, when I got a confirmation email that the work had been scheduled again! I called again and was impatient (I feel badly about that) and talked to the office manager who said she would take care of it. And wouldn't you know it...they showed up to do the work on that day! Thankfully, my husband was home to send them away. I called the office again, but no one has called me back. I never did get quote 3.

Delivered and stacked. Very easy and efficient.

Their pricing was comparable with other companies. It takes them a while to get there. I called them a couple of months ago to get a trim. They will do it when it is healthy for the tree when it goes dormant. I would use them again.

Great! Hoppe came out right away to discuss and recommended a solution previously unknown to me: Growth Inhibitor treatment. They came back in the fall to provide the recommended service.

Great business. Mr. Hoppe was very willing to work with us, answered all of our questions and his crew provided the best service.

Fred Hoppe came out and visited for a quote. They quoted 5-6 weeks, and work was completed within that timeframe. Since I did not require that I be home when the work was done, the pruning was completed when I was away from the house. The tree looks great and the site was thoroughly cleaned up. I would use Hoppe Tree Service again.
